Steer clear, no after sales support – Need a cheap dual sim for work and non-work. Bought mine at Australia Post because hey, it's Australia Post and they're not going to sell junk, right? Turns out no spare batteries of protective cases have existed for this model at AP or the Aspera website, back then or now. Had mine a year now and battery life has dropped from 3 days on standby to… Read more

2 days. Another year from now and it''s probably going to end up in the bin because I can't get a spare batt. I should have gone with the competing well known Motorola brand name one at the time.

Great value – Great value for money. Easy reliable use since purchase. Difficult to set up at first due to my long term use of iPhones, a culture change. Once re-familiarised with androids, is relatively simple to set up & use. Show details

Follow up on Wren by Aspera-- beware if radiation sensitive and want flight to be easy setting to get – I am old timer on previous review. After much effort/help can now get a sms keyboard but it is very very hard to use as it is not responsive to touch. It could be faulty but no point in telling the company about that as they are not interested in my problems with their phone--- as found out in communication with them. The biggest problem for me… Read more

is that this phone is not any good if you are radiation sensitive --or --( if you know to be concerned about excessive radiation going through your body from nearness to the phone) as it takes a lot of holding onto the phone to get it on flight setting. Other mobiles have flight as a selection along with power off. How can one know about this when buying--why must we buy blind? And when are unhappy with it--- why doesn't the company care-- now new idea in commerce--"customer is always wrong"...

Battery blew up – What a horrible phone . The battery after dropping the phone on the ground went into meltdown. Advertising comes on all the time. Generally a waste of money .YouTube application is not good also on this phone . It's a waste of time Show details

cant use this phone for sms – Bought his mobile hoping to use it for sms--doesn't work--goes to google microphone and there is never a keypad to write on--this phone is junk to me...i want the company to return my $149 as it is not working and i have wasted a lot of money. Have shown this phone to 3 young IT types who understand mobiles and they can not work it out either--it… Read more

has given Aspera a bad name with them for sure. Dont think the P.O. ever refunds money so i want the company to care about this....

Very good value for money – After a couple of days of small adjustments from my Samsung J3 to the Aspera Wren, its smooth sailing. In fact it picks up signal (both wifi and network) quite a bit better than the Samsung. I was quite happy with the Samsung but it got totaled and my partner bought me the Aspera Wren as a replacement. All apps run just as well, The settings… Read more

layout is slightly more clunky than the samsung but not really an issue. The onlydownside that I've noticed is that the output volume into the headphones could be slightly louder for my liking. A great value phone.

Difficult to set up if you're not an expert! – The enclosed instruction booklet doesn't belong to this phone! Nothing fits, so the rest is just guessing! For example, I forgot the password when I was setting up. The instructions say "to change password, go to settings and choose factory reset.! ProblemO: you can't go to settings without first entering the correct password! I have emailed a question to Personal Digital Services but have received no reply. Show details
