that they hadn’t made such claims in the policy and couldn’t verify If I was told that or not. However because it took them 10 days to return my call in the first instance they offered me $500 as a gesture of good will, and the goodwill gesture will expire 22/12/2023. If I had the opportunity again in 2008 to turn $40000 into $500 I wouldn’t do it again. Would you ?

So many paper letters! – I have been insured with Asteron for years now and have not had to make a claim, however am still very dissatisfied with the company because they keep on sending all their correspondence via mail. recent letters (12 pages!) I received, notified me of their increase in premiums. It is no wonder these premiums increase if they keep on sending letters via mail! I have called customer service and asked them to change over to email only, however that is not an option. I can, however, call them to request the most recent correspondence to be sent via email in addition to snail mail, but it cannot be changed to mail only. No reason was provided. So going forward, every time I get multiple letters from them, I will have to call them up to request a digital copy. What a waste of customer service time!

This has been going on for years and I am highly doubting Asteron's: - care about their clients - business practices and efficiencies - customer service

work and I have a permanent disability that I will have for life but to asterton that’s not enough I am disgusted with their lack of care,empathy and moral responsibility.I have no idea where to go from here as this was my last hope.Asterton life you are a joke and a rip off

Choose asteron to be messed around for months!! – This is a great company if you do not expect anyone to be competent or do what they say they will do. Set up direct debits just for them to not work for 15 months and constantly get declined notices despite ENSURING they have correct details after sitting on the phone for ages ... yeh, my time isn’t important at all so it’s alllll good!  Show details

Asteron Life are awful avoid thsi Company – Awful, cannot get an answer from anyone, emails not answered, complaints not answered. Long queues and just pushed from one dept to another. There are cheaper companies out there that offer the same cover. Avoid this mob. Show details

the wording of the policy through the whole claim. They have caused me huge financial losses, but fail to address their actions. My claim was from Dec 2001 to May 2016. They committed fraud and got away with it.
