monies from my account unauthorised, trying to get theses commissions based sales staff to listen is like extracting teeth, all they want to do is trick you into a cheaper policy !! I do not recommend this company or its conduct, I would also suggest that people look at other companies who are more honest and transparent especially with cancelling a policy. nightmare!

notified...but people with dementia don't answer emails and don't have a phone to call. 11 months later she died and they did not pay a cent after taking her money for her funeral for 10+ years. Real Life insurance ethics are disgraceful. Zero stars if possible. No care - just profited from her payments and our family were left with the funeral bill. Grief is horrible enough - they had no remorse. It was shown in their actions during this process.

DO NOT GET Real Life Insurance. Their insurance is under written by Hollard's Insurance, probably the worst service insurance company in history. In fact ASIC has already received complaints about their dodgy scam tactics in trying to get out of any claim. I went through their claim system at Hollard's recently and it was a nightmare. auto attendant is demanding and you have to enter about 15 keystrokes to talk to someone. One lady sounded like she was on drugs and didn't give a rat's ---- about me. I think I must have interrupted her nail painting. After weeks of conversations the claim went nowhere. Hollard's are a scam. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Absolutely stay well clear of real Insurance ,I had a policy for many years it just kept going up and up ,god for bid you miss a payment to ,you will get seriously harrassed ,calls texts emails no stop .then try to charge you extra on top of a missed payment .very happy I ceased both policy I had and now with a company who I pay half of what I was to this one ,oh and they don’t harass people . Show details

I did a quick online quote and a minute later I received a call. Answered all the questions and everything was done and approved. So easy to do it and I reckon my monthly fee to cover the maximum insurance is pretty reasonable. Show details ·  1

customer services can't cancel, you have to receive a call back from a 'cancellation specialist' which took another 3 days only to be on the phone as he tried to sell me a never ending amount of options. After all that, I said I still wanted to cancel and he told me he can't do that either! I have to write a letter!

Why make the process so convoluted? I would have potentially come back to Real in the future if their prices were competitive, but after that experience, I won't be returning.
