Follow-up · The car was taken to a LDV dealer in Melbourne who replaced sensors on lights and wipers. Sensors for side impact are still not in stock after months. Unfortunately replaced sensors worked for a day and at the moment are nor working again After several.phone calls to ATECO who are the importers and absolutely no use, they have arranged another lDV dealer in Melbourne to try to remedy the issues. ATECO WILL NEVER CALL ME.I HAVE TO KEEP CALLING THEM Again having the work ute off the road instead of doing the job which we purchased it for. I have disposed of my other LDV deliver 9 van and have puchased a Ford transit. If the t 60 is not back within a couple of days all repaired I.will be sending a letter of demand to us and pay for losses . Definitely do not buy an LDV. Keep you updated at the end of May

Poor availability of spare parts – The Ateco Group distributes LDV, Maserati and Renault as well as remanufacturing RAM Trucks into right hand drive for sale in Australia and New Zealand. I currently own a 2018 LDV T60 Pro. Although I’m quite happy with the car, I consider the availability of some body repair parts to be poor. During mid July 2020 my car was damaged and the repairer ordered parts from the Townsville dealer late July. I was subsequently advised the parts should arrive early September. I spoke to the repairer mid September & I was advised parts had yet to arrive and were now expected to arrive mid October. I received further advice from the repairer that the parts were now expected mid November. I then contacted LDV Australia via live chat on their website expressing my dissatisfaction regarding repair parts and that this delay in supply of repair parts doesn’t present a good image for LDV Australia. They then requested, and received a copy of the purchase order for the parts ordered. To their credit they responded quickly and demonstrated all bar one part had been delivered to the dealer. That one part had an expected delivery date of early/ mid October.
I’ve since gone back to the repairer, who in turn contacted the dealer, and advice received indicates that one part will not be available until mid November. My car is unable to be repaired until that one part arrives. Not a good look ATECO Group in promoting your LDV brand when your supply chain has delays such as this, especially considering the mixed reviews your vehicles have received. Although I’m happy with the quality of my vehicle, this unsatisfactory delay in provision of parts has made me think twice about purchasing another LDV.
UPDATE: The repairer finally received all the required parts during early January 2022 & repairs were conducted. No criticism is directed at the dealership spare parts team.

UPDATE 03 March 2024: Although I'm happy with my car, this brand is again being very tardy with crash repair parts. During September 2023 I hit a kangaroo in Northern Qld, my insurer (Youi) processed my claim not long after, and the crash repairer ordered the appropriate parts. The parts have yet to arrive to complete the repairs. I'm just fortunate that no airbags deployed & my car is roadworthy. It seems what money I saved by buying this car is being counteracted in the delays experienced in obtaining repair parts from either the distributor or the manufacturer.
