After years of desiring an Audi I finally got a 2017 Audi Q2 - what a disappointment. the electrics of the car have had a mind of their own from day 1 with no one being able to resolve it. The worst part however is that the two panels on either side of the car between th rear door and boot have just come off. The run around between head office and the dealership has been disgusting. They both pass the buck in a hope that you give up and get it fixed yourself. I have never spoken to more rude staff and both the service center and head office. This is the last Audi I will ever purchase the whole experience has left me hating the car and brand and I am happy to tell everyone I know.
Follow-up · The panel detached because the glue that holds the panel onto the black frame that it clicks into has deteriorated - after many hours going back and forth between head office and the del the dealer is processing an out of warranty repair - this is still to be done I am supposed to be contacted by the dealer but its been three weeks and no call yet. Ill let everyone know if it and when it gets repaired
Interior is good but car has issues – Car engine and interior is good. However I had a gear box issue which Audi fixed under the warranty. Howver it seems the gear box issue has cropped up again. So I need to follow up again which is kind of annoying. Also I had a failed USB port which is in the centre console. Audi confirmed that is a liquid damage and cannot be covered under warranty. The USB ports are located in an area where you can store water bottles and hand sanitisers. This is poor design by Audi and I know I never stored anything compressive in that compartment. Only liquid I stored is a hand sanitiser bottle. Audi service centre quoted 1700 to replace the USB ports which is exorbitant given it needs replacing just a USB port.

The perfect sized SUV for our needs – I recently purchased a Q2 which has all the features of the larger models of Audi SUV's. It is a delight to drive but does not have a bulk or the larger SUV's.

Ok so update from the dealer they are waiting for the part to come in - im hopeful this will be resolved :)
