Good without being exceptional – Bought this some time ago and have given it time before reviewing it. ! I've had LP's stored for years and I finally got to listen to them in their full glory. I would certainly recommend this turntable. Please note it is not an automatic turntable. You must cue it up and return the arm when the LP disc is finished. This turntable is well… Read more

worth it if your willing to deal with manual cuing.

I would also recommend an anti-static brush to get the best out of the turntable and also take some time to balance the tone arm

FINALLY I FOUND A TT I L.O.V.E!! – Ever since I was born I can remember touching, playing, scratching my parents & my own, records! When records became UN-HIP 25 years ago or so, I never gave up on them. And still have every record from my childhood and my very 1st that Mum bought (The Smurfs) For a long period of time I didn't have nor own a turntable but when I finally did get… Read more

one it was a USB DJ non-brand player which cost $299 in 2009 and it was truly a fun tt. Eventually upgraded the needle & it was even better! 5 years later it broke & I was on prowl for a new one. Long story short, I went through a whole heap of tt's which are the popular brands of "today" and boy, was I disappointed with them all until I bought the Audio-Technica AT-LP3.

I found a site https://www.discrepancy-records.com.au/ who are selling them fairly cheaper for $359.99 instead of the original price which is $469.00 so I thought, what the heck & went for it!

I'm glad I did. Even with it's AT-HS3 Headshell & the ATN91R needle as standard features, it honestly sounds like a record should. i'll still upgrade the needle soon but I'm in no rush. The player has a nice heavy feel to it and feels very solid. The rubber mat is HEAVY which makes it super-duper!

Basically, If you're a sound Nazi who was brought up in the "Golden Sound Era", like myself, you'll appreciate this turntable! It's got the new look but it certainly has the old school feel to it. 5***** Glad I have finally met my match! :-)
