Purchased a My18 Subaru STi and traded a My18 WRX. My WRX I was trading had coilovers so I asked that they awap the coilovers for the regular suspension that I would provide. Upon trade in time I provided the original suspension parts and I picked up my new car. I waited and waited for the coilovers to be returned to me. THEY WERE NEVER GIVEN BACK TO ME. They promised several times to provide me the coilovers back when they had swapped them over with the original suspension parts provided which I did. I subsequently saw my WRX advertised with the original suspension so who knows what happened to my $2,000 coilovers that were supposed to be given back to me. When I asked about the coilovers one of the guys got super aggressive with me and said he never agreed to any of the swap. That is absolutely rubbish otherwise I would not have bought the new car. Just lies to get a sale.

Dodgy sales and customer service – I can't say how disappointing dealing with Australian motors was. Before I bought my lancer I tried to get a viewing of it and the salesman tried to get me to send him money before I could see it. I complained to management and was told "we can't control everyone" seriously!? That's the best they could do! I did eventually get a deal on the car which was great.

Next I took it in for its 1 at service when I went to pick it up they had left it parked next to the showroom which was having regressions. The workman was chilling wood with a crotchet saw in a portable bench. This was next to my car with all the windows wound down. Why they chose to do this to my car and park it where they did I don't know. I do know my car was covered inside and out with sawdust. The exterior paint was covered in scratches.

To say I was angry was an understatement. I got sand apology and the offer to wash my car. They wouldn't talk about the fact my car paint job was now scratched all over!

I will never buy another car from them. I won't even go back for a service. Terrible, terrible customer service.

I bought my previous car from there I should have known better. That was sold with the promise of a timing belt fitted and when a year later they told me the timing belt was due and I told them it was nearly new it got very awkward for them indeed! They had lied and not fitted the belt at all. Got it for free in the end after threatening to report them.
