Ordered a Launch Pros Elite scanner. Paid for express post. Seller's website is a bit clunky, and I had to email asking for confirmation of my order and payment. Asked me to confirm VIN of my car to ensure the Launch would perform an ABS service.… Read more
Responded next day that it would. Item shipped express post as requested. Seven days between online order and receipt of goods. Was hoping it would be quicker. Launch registration completed and software updates downloaded from manufacturer. Genuine Launch product shipped from NSW by seller. Manufacturer's seal on box had been opened, and I expect that was to include an Australian electrical charger.
Follow-up · Scanner purchased to address fault codes on volvo c70 after replacement of CV axles. Launch identified the make and model by VIN as expected. Ran a full scan and reset ABS module fault code and a headlight fault code. All codes cleared and did not return as ABS sensor reinstated. FYI the initial set up and updates took about an hour from straight out of the case.
Scammers that don't reply – Sent me a diagnostic item that does not match my vehicle, and now won't return emails, along with slot of other customers saying the same thing, beware, and do not use
This is not an Australian company – states on the website they are an Australian company however they are NOT. They do not supply tax invoice meaning and therefore obviously not paying gst They don't even have stock in Australia Don't even bother emailing because they will take forever to respond and its clear that whoever is responding English is not their first language. lesson learned. If you cant call up and talk to someone on the phone dont even bother
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAMMER - Fraudulent foreigner masquerading as an Australian company – The company has multiple accounts on amazon, catch, ebay etc, and all state Australian company with Australia stock which they have no warehouse and hold no stock. They are one guy doing drop shipping part time, they take orders and payment for items they don't have then tell you they are on holidays or some other delay to cover the time it takes… Read more
to get the items drop shipped from another supplier in another country.
The Federal Police need to do more about shutting these fake companies down, no doubt they are also skipping on paying any tax in Oz....
Claims local stock but there is none – The company claims to be Australian owned and operated and really all they are is a drop shipping supplier. Basically they have a pretty website that claims to have stock in “local warehouse” and will send you and express post tracking number. The number only states that Aust Post is awaiting the item to process it. They have a contact number but… Read more
only goes to voice mail and they have a variety or email address, of which some are gmail accounts. When you ask questions via email it takes 24hrs to get any answer and it’s only very vague. When u ask to pick up its never answered. Next step is to ask for a refund but I can see this is not going to be easy. Oh almost forgot the phone number they text from is in the USA - +1(323) 538- 6975 and when I checked it’s located in California USA not Sydney Australia
