I purchased a motorcycle a year and a half ago, the interest rate was high but clearly written on the loan document before I signed it. Finance was quick, I called AFS twice over the period of the loan and spoke to a real person within 10 minutes each time. I recently refinanced the loan while going through a mortgage application and got a payout… Read more

figure within 10 minutes of calling. I read through alot of the feedback on this site and a lot of it feels unfair. One of the reviews the person dosent seem to understand the concept of interest, another complained about 3 weeks to get a payout figure. None of these reflect my experience with this company.

We've been paying off our 2025 Hyundai Venue for about a year, original loan $35000. I calculated we have paid off $11000 in monthly repayments. I requested a final payout quote, they somehow said we still owe $28000.

Originally our loan was with kia finance but then transferred over to this mob.Have been trying to contact them for the last 2 weeks to get the payout figure on our loan and they are not answering our emails and the contact number goes straight to an automated contact number. Avoid at all costs!! Show details

Not great, not terrible – I realise people mostly only write reviews when they have a negative experience, so I thought I would balance things out a little. The rates are quite high, I feel this may be a lender of last resort sort of situation so I am paying a much higher rate than I would like to. Their online services are non-existent, so everything requires an email or… Read more

phone enquiry, however in my experience the phone staff are helpful and typical enquires can be handled quickly.

It's just OK in my experience

Disappointed with service – Brought a nearly new car from MG, but didn't look into the loan and information from MG was very poor. Signed document in a rush so didn't read it, my error. I thought that I was getting a loan for $10000, as I had the cash to only have a loan of $7000, but was told the minimum loan was $10000. When I finally looked at the loan documents, the… Read more

loan is for $11,500. $990 for the dealership, and $500 loan fee. I could have paid this out of the cash I had left, so now paying 10% interest and loan fee on this. Never told this verbally, or that there would be a $8.95 fee each month. Disappointed that I didn't shop around and find time to look at the small print. Just found out that there is no login ability to see my loan details until march however have received a transaction statement which I find out there is the monthly fee. Still don't know what the early payment penalties are. Will not make this mistake again or use them again. Looks like early payment penalties are high due to other reviews.

Don't go there – Wish I had looked more into this instead of letting the dealership do it. Just read some of the reviews, pretty much spot on, dreadful company. DON'T DO IT.

JOKE OF A COMPANY – My partner had a 20k car loan.. another car rode it off and paid him out so he made a payment on the outstanding amount remaining to then own the car outright and apply for another car loan. They told him he wasn't eligible due to having to minor defaults on his credit.. both companies regarding defaults have not made any contact with him to… Read more

settle the matters regardless of my partner attempting to do so. I would not recommend anyone waste their time with applying for a car loan through this mob. It's all good and well when the loan is current but after paying out 9k on the loan he would have been better off leaving the loan to have been paid out in scheduled repayments than paying out nearly 50% off it when he was basically pre approved for another loan. Good job guys. Special thanks to TERRY for hanging up on my partner and being very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL.

Avoid. a rip off and loan trap – I applied for a car loan through Bigbox Cars in Salisbury, Queensland. I applied on a Monday. Did not hear anything until Wednesday. Uploaded income details as requested. Then I received a txt requiring me to verify my identity except it did not stipulate the source of the request. Had to call Bigbox to verify is the txt was legitimate. Then on… Read more

Thursday I was requested for further details and I was supposed to receive an email to sign the contract. Did not receive this contract until Friday evening. The contract was heavily in favour of the lender and had fees and charges well above what is available in the market including a kickback of $900 for Bigbox. Early termination of the contract requires a $1000 payment and you also need to keep paying the account keeping fees for the duration of the contract even though you may have paid it off without cancelling the contract to avoid fees. There is not incentive to repay the debt earlier. My advise is to shop around for your loan instead of going through the dealer.

No login facility – This company has no online login facility. There is no way to view the loan status and download statements online. Not a single email from them. No welcome email, no payment receipts, no statements, nothing.
