with all the relevant info I was concerned about during the process. Fido finance obviously train their staff to get the BEST deal for their customers, not just go with the easiest route. They all say they will get you the best deal, but I found others will go the easiest way for them to seal the deal as quickly as possible that suits them! Kosta from Fido secured me the best option for ‘me’ and genuinely tailored it to ‘my’ needs, even having the lender REWRITE the contract with a slight change that suited me best. I was after an import car, so wasn’t the easiest customer to deal with I’m sure. Without even thinking I would apply for finance, from just a simple enquiry, to being approved and 100% ready to pay and purchase the car, Kosta had me ready to do so in just a couple of days, even with all my questions and phone calls, the whole process was surprisingly simple and smooth. Honestly, I don’t think I would have went ahead with it all if I dealt with anyone other than Kosta, he is an asset to Fido.

however it is important to know that the advertised lowest rate isn't available to everyone even if you believe you have an excellent credit rating. There was also the unexpected discovery that Fido are a fee for service business, which increased the loan amount unexpectedly. This in no way changed my personal experience with James as he did his job to an exceptional standard, however I don't feel that the information on the website is particularly transparent around this fact and could be made more obvious. My understanding, was that they were like most other brokerages, where it is free to the customer and the bank/lender institutions pay commissions. I still believe my overall experience with James as my finance broker was worth the 5 stars, despite these shortcomings of the current business.

My time with Fido Finance has been a great experience. dealing with me throughout the entire process. Even when, the Specialist who was dealing with my case was unexpectedly called away, I was kept in the loop and was able to speak to another specialist who knew the process and was familiar with my application.

I would like to name both Gabe Christie and Jordan Rose who were dealing with my application and were exceptional in their quality of service and dedication to completing my application on the best terms. The team was extremely professional and I felt my application was genuinely important to them. In terms of costs - I was always informed of the rough costs before the final contract was given to me and was given a fair price which the team actively sought to give me the best deal on.

At the beginning of my application, I was looking at several different cars to buy. Gabe always kept note of what I was looking for and once I had found a final choice (Which was an interstate car), he helped me through the process getting in contact with the many partners of Fido Finance to get the very best deal. Even better, Fido dealt with all the Insurance processes and warranty for the car and built it into the cost of the loan. I have nothing but great things to say about the team at Fido and am very glad to have been a customer with them.

Dealing with Sam Agnew from fido was amazing. Sam put my concerns at easy, reassurring me throughout my journey that everything was normal and legit. Terrible service, with never getting back to you as promised and then only after one’s rings numerous times. The agent didn’t seem to care to much and never put much effort in. Took 5 working days to find out what anyone with loan expertise should have known in one day.

Okay service, poor rates. Search first and be mindful of trusting the marketing and sales tactics – The customer service side was great from my friendly broker and she was patient when I had to change vehicles. details with the competitor their rate would shoot up and it didn't... I even sent an email thanking him and Fido and he didn't even respond which says it all really. Fido were 2% more expensive on a used car loan and the competitor made it much much easier! The dealership were even 1.5% cheaper than Fido's lender so that says it all.

Make sure you do your due diligence and search around first as these reviews seem highly suspicious with a few commenting they're asked to review before the contract is signed.

Bad Experience – While my loan was approved, I note the following points: Fido ask for you to review them PRIOR to finalising your loan, hence the very high star rating. Fido DO NOT make 100% transparent all applicable monthly fees until you receive the final contract with a 'deadline' to sign. loan, I am now paying $542. The whole process left a very bad taste in mouth, would not recommend going with Fido.
