I have just renewed my Home and Contents Insurance with Avoca again and I want everyone to know how wonderful they are. (Thank you Julie) My journey with Avoca started in 2017 after I purchased my current house and they were recommended to me by a friend. After a brief discussion with Sheenali by phone with details then confirmed by email I was quickly set up with appropriate and competitively priced cover for my insurance situation in preparation for the settlement of my house.

Yearly renewals are a breeze. I am contacted at least 6 weeks before my insurance renewal is due to confirm if there are any changes or additions. It is always an easy stress free exercise for me.

If you do have the mis fortune to have an event I can speak from personal experience that Avoca have you back. I retuned home from work at about 9pm on Christmas eve 2021 to find a collapsed ceiling in my living room and a flooded house due to a burst Iplex hot water pipe in my roof (pictures included below). I sent out an email to Avoca later the same evening. I received a call from Avoca just before 9:30am Christmas Morning (Thank you again Mia) and before lunch Christmas day I had an emergency visit from a plumber and electrician to make my house safe.

Further, when things don't go to plan Avoca are there to help you. Following the aforementioned flood, the builder assigned to rectify the damage (AT Build WA PTY Ltd) was made aware if a large crack in the Gyprock that had formed above my built in bookcase they had replaced as part of the rectification works. AT Build WA acknowledged the defect in their work but then simply would not make a time to be available to return and correct the defect. After "getting the run around" for four months I contacted Avoca for assistance. Avoca were able to contact my insurer, who in turn, reopened my original claim and directed the builder to make themselves available to correct the defect without unnecessary delay. It took less then 1 month following this intervention to have matter resoled (thank you again Melissa and Sara).

I hope this shows everyone how the level of customer service and attention to detail you receive being a client of Avoca, I would recommend them to anyone. My wife also uses Avoca for insuring her two rental properties.
