having received a quote, I rang in to see if I could exclude flood cover & alternative accommodation, alas the answer was no, which means I am paying for cover I do not need, not good in my eyes! When I agreed I wished to proceed with my quote I had to go through all the question asked and responses I had given on line. Great policy compared to my previous insurer,and i saved a lot of money. Communication was a bit slow after my initial consultation,but i got online to get my coverage,and completed the task easily.Is great for 'non tech savvy' like myself,and easy to follow after my telephone conversation the previous day.This is my first dealings with Australian Seniors,but i am really liking the way they do business. Show details ·  1

I agree with others as cannot possibly understand how they get great reviews! What is this actually based on? Yes they're polite and helpful in setting up policies but that is where it ends. why policies increase each year but cannot substantiate the huge amounts of increases... Our current policy for Home & Contents with Australian Seniors came in at triple the price of a major competitor,! It was such a shock as our circumstances are unchanged, no claims and a no risk area! Absolutely ludicrous-so we opted out renewing with Australian Seniors as we were able to get Home & Contents Insurance with another major Insurer at one third of Australian Seniors renewal certificate!!! We were able to get a policy combination of H&C and insured for a substantially higher amount for both with minimal excess payable! We are not speaking of a couple of hundred dollars we are talking about a $3000 increase! No one I spoke to could give me a clear explanation as to the ridiculous increase since all was unchanged! Please shop around and don't listen to the ads looking after the over 50'..... it's more like taking advantage of the over 50's. We found 3 major Insurance companies coming in at one third of the price with same policy details! Definitely do not recommend....

I used them once last year for the first time. They were much lower than most other companies. On renewal this year they turned out not to be so. Therefore, never going back. I suggest that you compare. Show details

Customer Service was excellent when quoting and purchasing the policy. Went through everything very thoroughly to make sure it was understood. Options for the less technically challenged like post and call backs. Haven't made a claim so cannot comment on that side of things.
