Twice I have received missing items and have not been able to get in touch with them - their phone number rings out and they never call back. I wish I'd read the other reviews on here before ordering from this company.

Risky to order from them. If anything is broken or an item not packed or wrong item send, there is No Way to communicate. Emails get a useless reply if a threat is made, order number is asked and never gets back to you. Trying the last 6weeks, nothing. Phone goes to message bank and never a return call. There are plenty of other online stores that offer same products, buy from them. Baba G not for me

I did a large order over $300. Item leaked in two of three boxes. I received food items with no use by or best before dates on them and items that were already past the best before dates and items with only 5 days to go before best before dates. I was messed around for two weeks by them and then couldn’t get a refund through PayPal because it was past 30 days since delivery. They also never answered any of my phone calls calls only emails.

I am honestly quite disgusted with the service I received at Baba G. They are dishonest about the products on website, product quality is not acceptable and they don't reply to find solutions. Firstly their website shows products different to what is received e.g saying its glass but the packaging is plastic which is a big deal to me as I dont… Read more

like to use anything plastic.

Secondly, everything leaked there was oil from the hazelnut butter over everything and it came out of the jar so it was super dry.

Thirdly the olives we bought were gritty and had strange things inside which is very abnormal. They agreed it was also not normal.

Forthly they said in order to give any refund we had to pay to send everything back to them. This would of meant for us getting a new box as the one we had was covered in oil and was just not worth it for us.

Fithly despite our kind emails they ignored us and stopped replying without finding a fair solution to this matter.

False advertising and no consequences! – Buying YAYLA feta cheese for years - 1 kilogram advertised but they are selling 800 grams. Photos attached. After reporting it, Woolworths & YAYLA both advised they take customer feedback "seriously" and moved on.

Excellent – Really useful range of exotic pantry items available and the prices are fair and the postage is very fast. I appreciated that everything was packed carefully and thoughtfully. Postage was very fast. I'm very impressed.

Delivery over 3 weeks and too many products close to or near use by dates – I ordered items 23/02/23, part of the order was a gift hamper style of goods which was to be a donation contribution for the earthquake victims in Turkey. I was purchasing for a gift, and it was only when I had paid and the tracking number provided it became apparent that the company BABA G used SENDLE whom allowed up to 3 WEEKS delivery from… Read more

Sydney to Tasmania! It is the 17th of March and my order arrived this evening at 16:45. (I had to purchase another gift as this order did not arrive in time). In hindsight I am so glad I did not give the items I had ordered from this business. As two packs of chocolate use by dates is 26/03/23, so old stock, and it tastes like it, similarly a Deluxe mixed turkish delight 15/05/2023 is also stale and is like chewing rubber. Basically a cardboard box with tape on each end and the Deluxe turkish delight sitting in plastic trays, air can get in and it is really awful so much it is going in the bin. The second box of turkish delight 25/08/23 in comparison is lovely. But not lovely enough I would ever recommend you order online from this company. The jar of capers is also old stock July 2023, (at least its in vinegar so it can be still used but many people would not keep it after this date).Dried Quince with no visible to me use by date but a 12 month shelf life in a paper sachet I assume with a moisture proof lining. I have not opened these. The tin of Elma is dinted and the 'resealable plastic lid is damaged use by date October 2023..

When I originally contacted this company by phone leaving my phone number with concerns over the time frame of the delivery not only did they NOT return my call but emailed me and used an incorrect name. They just kept telling me to follow the tracking details of SENDLE the company they use to distribute their orders, and this was updated so appallingly and with scant information. 23rd/feb 28th feb, then nothing til 7th march, 9th march, 13 march 14th and 17th. mostly parcel in transit, then on the 13th parcel was weighed and measured, and 14th manifested to regional delivery service. My regional delivery service delivered it today 17th March 2 days after the final delivery period and explained that SENDLe had not actually put in any information in the barcode on their delivery information on the parcel; Due to this they were unable to process the box until Sendle had rectified the problem and for my regional freight delivery service to be covered under their insurance. The parcel had been received on the 10th of March? WHAT took so long to fix?

The box on arrival had been poorly taped, it was unsealed on the top where the fragile tape had folded on itself. Thankfully the items inside were in good order as in all in boxes, bubble wrapped and nothing damaged or missing. Part of my order including the freight was refunded less than 30% of the order cost. Due to the issues with Sendle and the tracking fiasco. this is prior to the receipt of the package today. I had purchased as I said a donation box (along with two other seperate items), which sadly contains the old stock and close to expired and stale stock (not all of it is)but it really is NOT OK for a $150 donation hamperto have this sort of items in it. Sorry but NOT OK. A very poor fundraising idea I wish I had just donated the cash to a local charity but as I say it was for a gift and well that did not happen. Basically a totally sad effort and something your business should be very ashamed of! If I had known that a large proportion of the food items were stale close to use by dates I would not have bought the hamper! They also at the time I was attempting to remove myself off their mailing list/subscribers list, had NO WAY TO DO SO. I had to tell them to remove me via an email! So so disappointed. I have to wonder if the stale turkish delight and chocolate may have been nicer a week ago if my package had the computerised information in the bar code. Just dont order online any food products.
