Mixed results – These nappies were affordable to buy and easy to wash, a year later they still look almost new. Unfortunately though, the snaps don't provide a close enough fit at certain stages of growth and I regularly find my child "between" snap sizes. We go a couple of months with a good fit that holds in moisture for 2-3 hours and then this alternates with a phase of consecutive leaks and blowouts just a short time after changing. This regularly renders the nappies useless for some time until the next snap size fits.

I have tried a range of inserts to see if the problem can be rectified but with no success as the nappy outer simply doesn't give a close enough fit.

Would not purchase again.

Great basic nappy for your stash – This is a straight forward simple snaps nappy. Comes with 2 fast drying microfibres inserts and I find you need to use both in the nappy to last 3 hours. Pocket nappy style. Lovely designs and fabrics used. Washes well. I bought 3 for $20 on sale so very cheap but good quality. One nappy did have a missing snap so I emailed company and they sent me a replacement in less than 24 hours! Excellent customer service. Would recommend to others.

Fantastic! – I can't believe how good these nappies are for the price. I tried a selection of different MCNs and these quickly became one of my 'go to' brands and one that I would trust when leaving the house. Because they are just as good as the other brands we tried, it was a no-brainer to choose these over brands that were more than twice the price. Because of the snaps in the front, they are not bulky and they contain poo just as well as a disposable. They have a few cute patterns and some plain colours. But function is much more important IMO. We have had no leaks with these on our 3mo little girl during the day and that's with only 1 insert so we're confident that as she grows and wets more, we can increase to 2 inserts. The only leak we have had is overnight, when even using 2 inserts, it didn't quite last through the night. This is the only reason that I haven't given them 5 stars is because they don't last overnight. We solved this problem by using Grovia Hybrid for night time with 2 boosters, however these are very expensive so we couldn't justify using them full-time when the Babyco nappies are just as good for daytime use.

I got them for $8 each online and that includes 2 inserts. Extra inserts are available for around the same price also if you want to have more handy. There are no velcro nappies with this brand, they all have snaps. Also as with any pocket nappy you shouldn't cheat and put the microfibre outside of the pocket because it's bad for bub's skin, so you have to stuff the shell with the insert. This takes a bit of time and again as with any pocket nappy the shells need to be washed with each use. But this isn't an issue as the shells dry very quickly (I haven't however tried any of the minky shells as I found that with any brand, the minky shells take longer to dry). The inserts don't take excessively long to dry either, in comparison with some other brands.

I highly recommend these!! No leaks for daytime use, not bulky, dry quickly, cheap. I like that they're available in a retail store so I can grab more/extra inserts without paying delivery. Didn't last overnight.

Good value – Bought a few of these nappys to try as they were cheep, only $9 each. At first I had trouble with the elastic around the legs getting wet and then wetting the clothes bubs was wearing. They have imporoved with more washes and I have been using the two inserts they come with instead of just one - much better although I find that if he is wearing a singlet that snaps around the nappy it gets wet. Have to change bubs about every two to three hours. They are a trim fitting nappy with low rise and dry really quickly. I am happy with them, they are the first MCN I have tried and intend trying a few more brands. Only started using them on bubs at ten months old as I have been using terry squares which kept falling down so it is time to try something else. Bubs is long and skinny but I can adjust fit around the legs, the elastic does leave red marks if they are done up to tight. Would not use them over night although he has worn them through a couple of long day sleeps of about four hours and it has not leaked. Cheep and trim fitting, dry quickly. Limited colours, leg area gets wet if insert is overwet and leaves marks on skin if done up snuggly.

Further down the track these nappies are certainly a go to reliable nappy even after trying a lot of other recommended brands that are double the price or more. This is the nappy for long car trips and long walks, even good for afternoon naps. I have given up on reusable nappies overnight as my son drinks so much milk and I cant seem to say no to that extra bottle. Anyone babysitting my son also goes for this nappy first as they find it easy to use. It is quick to dry not overly bulky and I find pocket nappies easier to clean and put on when my son is a bit wiggly and keeps kicking nappies with an insert so I have to put it together again. Have been using them since my son was ten months to two and half years and think they are the best value and most reliable, double bonus!
