Baby love adventurer stroller – Really disappointed in this stroller. Looked around for 6 months before deciding on this one. Clip, on basket undernith stopped working after first use, rain cover plastic tore away from stitching after first use and rubber on handle started to split after having only being used about half a dozen times. Really disappointed considering its not… Read more

Well worth it – Brilliant little stroller, wouldn't go past it, really strong and manoeuvrable. Handy for getting around the supermarket as it's quite narrow, but just as versatile on gravel paths with large wheels and despite being available in two colours I liked the grey one we got. Never had a problem from day one Compact and strong

Good – I bought this pram, to replace a huge Valco tri-mode that wasn't practical for shopping especially in shopping centers. It had to be a good lay back stroller, that was easy to maneuver and push around the shops. (which it is!) Husband loves pushing this pram! Is so easy to get around tight spots in shops, easy to lift and push up curbs and… Read more

obstacles.

One clip to hold it together folded up lightweight too! What made me buy this pram-stroller:

Was its Ease of pushing, the handles are at the right height and angles.

Excellent folding and un-folding feature,(husband loves that!)

360° front wheel turning circle and single wheels on the front makes the pram so easy to move around tight areas.

The rear twin wheels makes the pram feel stable and stronger.

Big-open and simple attached pocket at the rear (for wallet phone etc).

Peek window on shade canopy hood.

Modern ergonomic design.

Fully lay back seat that lowers up and down slowly without disturbing the child sleeping and has good height stops.

The seats fabric elongates upwards and covers some of the side bars of the pram near the baby's-toddlers head which is good if they fall asleep or are resting their head on the side of the pram.

Fabric is strong and repels water somewhat, (I spilt coffee on the hood and it never stained nore soaked into the fabric straight away. I was able to grab something to soak up the mess, suprised it never left a mark.

Its overall feel of the whole pram.

The colours- red or grey (I chose red, nearly bought the grey, has a nice design pattern inside the hood).

Bottom basket has enough room and easy to get to.

Wider seat for larger children.

Adjustable leg heights. The seat isn't deep enough, little bottoms slip down instead of sitting in snug.

Safety straps are too long, even for a 9 month old.

When the pram is empty (no child seated) the pram can flip over if there's too much hanging off the handles.

Needs a foot muff and a UV fly vale (sun shade)its more than an umbrella stroller.

The (Valco tri-mode has a UV sunshade that zips across the hood of there pram its the best invention. It connects at the bottom with elastic straps. I wish this stroller had one too!!

Needs to have available accessories.

Good – Bought this stroller after i was sick of the roger armstrong elfin. My daughter always cried in the roger armstrong but seems to be fine in this one. Its so easy to fold and its light. are way too big and my daughter slides down all the time which annoys me and her. The window in the basket is not see through and pretty useless.

Lots of features, but heavy and awkward – We purchased the Baby Love Adventurer just 3 weeks ago, for an overseas holiday with our 14 month old child. When purchasing the stroller our criteria was for the stroller to be light weight, manoeuvrable, tough and most important of all, be able to recline the seat to a flat position so that our child could fall asleep. Surprisingly, when… Read more

shopping for such a stroller, there were not many products that fulfilled all of these requirements. We wanted the Maclaren, but it did not recline flat, so we eventually chose the very reasonably priced Baby Love.

The Baby Love weighs in significantly heavier than the Maclaren at 8 KGs, which is not overly heavy, but a bit of a lump when lugging it through airports and in and out of Taxis. I must say, it does feel heavier, probably due to its shape.

The Adventurer folds down to a reasonable size, when one considers that it is 500mm (W) x 720mm (L) x 1000mm (H), but still takes up a fair bit of space.

Having been dragged through six international flights and loaded in and out of many taxis, it must be said the Babylove Adventurer stood up fairly well and remains in good working order. However one of the handles tore and we lost the very poorly designed Harness Protectors during the first flight.

The loss of the Harness Protectors was actually a blessing as they made the already fiddly process of securing the child, significantly more difficult. The problem with the Harness Protectors, is that they slip over the locking latch. Each time you want to harness the child in, you need to squeeze your fingers into the Protector to find the latch. Very frustrating, especially when in a hurry. Thankfully though, another flaw to this design was that the Harness Protectors fall straight off when the Harness is not locked together, so we lost them almost immediately.

The Harness system itself, while looking like a great idea, is also more trouble than it is worth.

It is clear why it has been designed in the way that it has and in theory, it is a good concept. In practice however, having to join four male locking connectors and then insert them into the female coupling, is a mammoth task, especially when negotiating Customs checks and a hyperactive child who just won't sit still.

Another small gripe, was folding the Stroller. While it is relatively easy to do, there is an element of kicking and fumbling that ensues, every time you collaps the Babylove and the locking strap doesn't alway lock when you need it to. Even more frustrating is how it does not unlock, when you really need it to and you end up pouncing around trying to open the stroller.

I must say, by the end of our holiday, I found that the best way to get the Adventurer to perform, was to be rather brutal with it, kicking the locking mechanism, shacking it open and jamming it closed.

In it's defence, my brute force and the two weeks of Baggage Handeling, did not distort the frame or impact upon the workings of the pram at all.

Overall, the Adventurer does not really live up to it's name. It did not really satisfy the requirements of our two week 'Adventure' to the USA and was quite a hinderance at times.

In hindsight, we should have purchased the Maclaren as our child would probably have been OK sleeping, even if not fully reclined.

In saying that, I feel that the Adventurer is a pretty sturdy Stroller and may suit the heavy handed type of user fairly well, but it is not as quick and easy to use as more lighter touched users might prefer.

If you are not prepared to kick it and throw it about, this may not be the stroller for you. Cheap, strong, reclines flat and easily manoeuvrable Big, Heavy and Awkward.

Excellent – It's a compact stroller and with almost flat position allows my 3 months old baby to comfortably laying down & sleep in it. I don't think it can handle off-road, I've never tried it, but I'm not much of an off-roader. In my opinion this stroller is better than an umbrella stroller. The basket is useful but when the recliner is on flat… Read more

position it's hard to access.

My previous favourite stroller was Chicco C6 but they don't make it anymore, I would love to purchase the latest version Chicco Liteway but to me it's too expensive.

So far I'm very happy with this stroller. It's sturdy, easy to steer with comfortable handle and it's a good size for me as I'm small & petite. It looks good/stylish and at reasonable price at $200. Some online shops offers $15-20 discounts. It's light, I think around 8kg, and folded very well to fit into small cars' boots.
