Baccarat The Barista Froth

I purchased this to replace our old Aldi frother, which had died. Although I was happy with the Aldi one, this is a step up in many ways and I'm very pleased with it. It has a detachable glass cup which is healthier and easier to clean. You simply lift it off the base to pour or clean. It rarely develops the film on the bottom that the old unit used to have. The results are also great.

The unit has 5 settings that you can set by pressing the selector button repeatedly. These are high foam, mid foam, cold, low foam and hot chocolate. No having to swap out the stirrer to suit, it automatically adjusts based on your setting.

The end beep is loud, but that suits me, as I get distracted doing other things.

On the downside, the plate on the base unit does get very hot, and it might not be suitable if you have small children. I would also have ordered the buttons differently, putting cold at the end.

Overall, this is a very well designed unit that is simple to use and produces an excellent product and I would definitely recommend it.
