Baksana Bamboo Bath Towel

Luxury towels that don't last – They feel nice, but when I first got them I had one or two fraying down the side. They replaced them, which was good. But then it happened again. I just trimmed it off this time because it was a real bother sorting out returns from Australia. Just the other day, and I admit – this was a couple of years after I bought them – a massive hole ripped in the towel. See picture. I have had (other brands) towels for 10+ years and this has never happened. They won't exchange them. Mainly disappointing because I did consider them more luxury than the towels I usually buy. And this is such a huge product failure.

Sumptuous! – This towel is just decadent! Very generous size, great weight, and beautiful shade of green (seafoam). Super absorbant and so soft! I will be replacing all my towels with these in the future and will be purchasing from bambooinstlye.com.au, whose customer service is second to none!
Soft, but – No doubt these towels are soft, and very absorbent. So absorbent, in fact, that I can't get them dry! They feel constantly damp. I had them on the clothes line yesterday from 7 am- an autumn day, 20 degrees C, no wind. Still damp at 3pm whilst my cotton towels were bone dry. Using the clothes dryer seems counter-productive to purchasing eco-linen. I don't use freshly laundered towels each day, so each morning of re-use gives me a damp towel. I think they are wicking the humidity out of the air. I'll take a dry towel over a soft towel any day. Might have better luck in the hot summer months.
Absolutely Gorgeous – These are the best towels I've ever owned. I'm a textile junky who cannot live without my 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and towels, but these towels are better than my 700gsm Egyptian Cotton ones that cost a lot more. They are more silky feeling than cotton towels, which I'd associate with being less absorbent, but I think they are actually more absorbent. I made a pillowslip out of one for when I wash my hair, and it became my favourite pillowslip because it just feels so lovely. Luxurious in weight and thickness. Heavy bound edges. Towels have never become stiff or flat. Pile feels more 'silky' than 100% cotton. Very absorbent. Great for my sensitive skin. Nothing, although next time I buy them I'll buy bath sheets because the normal towel is only 70cm wide.
Baksana Bamboo Bath Towel – I must say that the bamboo bath towel my wife and I bought are brilliant!. We actually can't believe how absorbent these towels are. We only bought 2 to begin with from ICON HOMEWARE and going to buy more. Can't believe how soft they are. By the way, excellent service from those guys too. soft and cuddly, absourbs water much better than regular towels little expensive

Another one has done the same thing a few months after my first review. I have towels from Freedom that have held up for almost 20 years.
