Very comfortable under my ancient body and VERY warm. I can't understand why one reviewer reports lack of warmth. One of the controllers on our blanket was faulty out of the box but the Bambury people immediately despatched a replacement controller after I emailed the details, and problem solved.

Read Reviews prior to buying and must say "no regrets" was just as reviews stated. Warm wool, soft, stays warm long after switching off (i do not sleep with it on), heats in 5min, wool adds to bed being warmer. Highly recommend.
Follow-up · I only turn blanket on before going to bed then switch off (7, 7 for feet and body). It's been mid winter so hard to know if it has increased electricity a/c. I haven't used an electric blanket for 30 years they weren't soft then, but this one certainly is and wool retains the heat (as Buyers Reviews stated). Takes about 10 min to warm.
