Ok so I had a previous barracuda gotcha cleaner and it worked well for 5-6yrs before it died.Thinking I would get 5-6 yrs service I decided it purchase another one .So in 2023 I purchased a new one (paid $1230) got it home and parts were missing as box was open . That wasn't a problem as store exchange it two weeks later.for another one. Well that… Read more

one lasted 10mths , I took it back and store exchanged it for another one under warranty Now that one has just died ............and now out of warranty as warranty starts with the original purchase. Won't be buying another ........

Gotcha again – Another faulty one !! This is our 3rd one in 3 years and now this one isn’t even 12 months old it just stops working and light flashes on control box no reset available. The units work amazingly when its operational but $1200 is a lot of money for unreliability. I will be getting my money back this time . Show details

Waste of money and poor product support – This item spent a lot of time on it's side going around in circles which we learnt to live with and had to often pull the cable to get it onto it's wheels again. purpose for 3 years. The person who answered the call was disinterested, unhelpful and told me their warranty was only for two years and that he could not assist me. I asked to speak to a supervisor / manager and was told I could not but I could log a complaint using a Fluidra website link. It was not an easy experience using this Fluidra process with several website glitches but after a few hours of trying on and off I got the warranty / complaint form and filled it in. Over a week has passed I haven't heard back from them so have written this product review to help other people from wasting their money and will now take this to Fair Trading to see if they can assist in having this item repaired under warranty. I bought the item from Bunnings and they are usually very good with honouring warranty issues and supporting their products so I'll take this to them as well.

Painful – Went through 4 of these in 18 months. Bunnings were unbelievably helpful but the Fluid "help desk" were about as useful as an electric window on a submarine. If you like driving product back to get to open a new box then look no further than the Baracuda Gotcha. Very amp name the Gotcha!!! Show details
