Hank's Review of Aldi ANC and Bluetooth Headphones, model HE210339 – The headphones are nicely packed with accessories and carry case. The first thing I checked is the sound quality and that is surprisingly good and reproduce all the details in classical, pop and jazz and that is with a wired connection. It sounds as good as my top headphone which cost $400. You can use them with active noise cancellation on or off… Read more

and the same for the Bluetooth 5.0. When at home I don't need ANC and can listen with the Bluetooth switched on and that work very well. Bose and Sony have better ANC but cost five time as much. Based on the Value for Money concept this is a steal. They look rather plain but sound great. I bought them last Saturday 9th of April 2022 and my review is based on the above model number.

An excellent product – I have used this product most days for over 6½ years for watching TV when others are asleep; great longevity for a 1-year warranty product. Although now showing their age, they have been an excellent product. Show details

Good sound but not good build quality – I used them for 11 months but around a month ago the headphones power button started to break. Now if I even try turning it on it won't. Sound quality is great but it keeps on telling annoying sounds like “battery low” repetetively. Show details

POOR QUALITY JUNK – Whilst these worked ok when charged,,, the charge cradle would often operate intermittently. (Poor seating contacts on the cradle) ..... Finally the vinyl/rubber earpads just totally disintegrated... No more Baum branded product for me. Show details

Worthless – I took them out of the packaging and they won't even charge. Light flashes on and immediately goes off. The mistake I made was purchasing them and not using them until I needed them, at which point they were out of warranty. I was scolded and told I should have tried them immediately to make sure they worked but then out of the same breath she… Read more

told me "they probably worked when I purchased but went bad because I let them sit (unopened in the packaging)! I always keep a spare so I have something to use at the gym in case mine breaks. I'm done with this brand.

Pretty good for the money – I purchased these recently for £12.99 and was expecting something rubbish so I linked them to my phone and blasted out Red Light by Billy Ocean and didn't realize how loud I was "screaming" along to it until my son came racing into my room thinking I was in pain. They may not be noise canceling but I still had to lip read what my son was saying to… Read more

It’s perfect, valuable price – I love it, it’s comfy and I take care of it but still working like new since I bought it 2 years ago. Today i dropped here because I want to connect it to my new device and I forgot how to do it, but I was able to do it after searching. Still enjoying this headphone till now. Show details

I could not even use it once! – I opened the packet and charged it and then it would not pair with my devices, so i left it alone and tried it another day and i managed to get it to pair but it did not play through the headphones only the phones speakers. so another day i charged it again for longer and now the light was not flashing at all. i called the service center and she… Read more

told me that if you charge it more than 30 mins it will not work anymore. Further, the warrantee of 2 years no longer applies even though I just got it! I hate this b/c it is such a waste!

Never seemed to work properly – I tried and I tried and god knows I tried. I stayed up to four o'clock one morning to figure out how to get these dumbass things to work, and do you know what? I never could. They didn't communicate with my equipment, and who knows? I must have been doing something wrong because when my 92 year old mother in law used them a couple of years ago… Read more

(god love her the old dear is still with us and I am so delighted about that) and she said they were working fine. And trust me, SHE would know! She is so tech savvy, she writes instructions on how to improve Elon Musk's space shuttle service. She ended up going onto these special hearing aids that connect to her iPad and iPhone and the Television and landline at the same time, and can relay her the news service in 32 different languages. So, when she says these things work well, then, I begrudgingly have to say, well, okay, but they never did for me. Hence, one measly star.

Terrible – I have bought some great stuff from Aldi over the years but these do not fall into that category of great! I'm frankly surprised these got through the testing department because they are rubbish. They come nicely boxed and look and feel perfectly decent for the money. The problem comes when you use them! Even at full volume, the sound level… Read more

is low, and would be no good for the hearing impaired. If you are buying them to listen to music, beware that the sound quality is simply terrible, very tinny, and does not appear to even be in stereo. If you attempt to walk around the room even metres from the TV, you sometimes get interference. They are not Bluetooth. I'm amazed that anyone is giving them a good review because they are definitely NOT good!

Its OK for the price paid – Seems to work better on phone than plugged into TV. When plugged into TV, it would lose frequency sometimes. When paired with phone, it works well. The downside is having to plug into a bulky cradle, but wireless headphones are OK when I move to next room. Also, recharging headphone can be a little tricky in making sure headphones rest right in the cradle. But putting up with it for the price paid.  Show details

Comfortable , great value compared to other brands. Sound quality is better than expected – Perfect for my purpose. The TV sound can be on and volume regulated for other users ,while I can have near perfect sound without background noise interfering. Love them. Now , my wife wants them. Must get another set which will run off the same transmitter. They are very good value for the job that they.promise to do.  Show details

Absolute trash – Cordless does not mean blue tooth. My mum bought it for me for the blue tooth so i could go for runs, but it was a big huge deception. Who even uses headphones for television anyway? Waste of money. They were supposed to be cordless. CORDLESS. But guess what, you get given like twenty cords.  Show details

Warning: these are not bluetooth headphones – I got these for a birthday thinking they were bluetooth headphones (because that’s exactly what cordless implies) but these are anything but bluetooth. You have to lug a big charging station along with you (which has to be connected to power at all times) and the sound quality isn’t even that great. In the end, you actually have more cords than a normal corded headset, along with a big charging station... Wouldn’t recommend.  Show details

Disappointing – I've had a lot of great quality & value products from Aldi. These disappoint because: - No Bluetooth. Have to plug 3.5mm Jack into Audio Source (Laptop). $10 Gas Station Ear Buds are better.. Not sure if stereo or mono. Minimal Bass.

On the plus side, they are fairly comfortable.

Potentially great but totally let down by poor battery – I have had three of these over the last twelve months. In sum these headphones, despite offering great sound and clarity are a total failure as they are useless after three months.

Terrible quality, when we bought it we got 5 pairs costing $40 each! – We $200 dollars on 5 pairs of these headphones at their initial release, and there were many problems with them. The wireless mechanism to connect your computer is really difficult to understand, even for the master technologist. The charging device is a pain in the butt to use, it is very flimsy and hard to use. The audio quality is awful at a… Read more

Base station "work around" – I like these Bauhn Cordless Headphones, particularly while watching TV and working in my kitchen at the same time. I would like to buy another set when they are next available, notwithstanding my comments that follow. I also had the problem of the headset not making good contact with the base station for charging. I found a "work around" which… Read more

is to push the earpieces back as in far as they will go into the headband and then seat the headset into the base station making sure that the Right side is well connected. I then put a 500 gram weight on the Right side earpiece to hold it in place while it charges.

I also stuck tiny pieces of Velcro onto the volume buttons so that, while using them, I can easily feel which one is which - Velcro Hooks on one and Loops on the other - works well.

Awful product – I bought a set on 21st July this year and returned it for a refund on the 22nd. The sound quality is atrocious. I only bought it because my 10 years old Sony unit (bought in Hawaii for $79) was starting to play up. I'd compare the sound quality to that of a 1960's transistor radio.  Show details

Excellent battery life – I bought these from ALDI about a year ago and they work very well. Although they feel a little heavy on the ears, you do get used to it. They come with several ear pad covers to suit different ears sizes and charge within… Read more ·  1

about an hour or so. I like these headphones but nothing beats my 300 watt speakers system with 500 watt sub woofer but I am not always allowed :( to use them as it does have a tendency to shake the house when the volume is about 3 or 4 out of 10 so the headphones have been a supplement which I found to have a surprising battery life.

Good for its niche – Have bought two of these: one is a few years old and the other set less than a year. First unit now has reduced operating life - probably the battery is failing. These are by no means hi-fi, and at the price no one should reasonably expect them to be. Sound quality is more than adequate for TV and radio, and they are good value for money compared… Read more

good little headphones – I was looking for some headphones for my television, as we live in a small home, and, as my husband and i like to watch different television programs we could hear each others t.v, i bought these headphones and they definitely do what i needed them to do, which is to be able to hear my television clearly. can hear just my t.v., i can wear them if i am moving around the room, although they are quite comfortable over the ear area, they could be a little lighter in weight.

Overall they do the job i bought them for which was to listen to and hear my television without any other noise distractions.

Great for the price.

Overall a really good, affordable purchase.

So bad – I bought this product last year. I returned back after 1 hour. It is not a Bluetooth speaker. It has to be connected to a base. This means you can't take with you outside or take it on the train. Also the setup with the base and your TV is complicated. No Recommended  Show details

Good for the price – Wireless headphones can be really expensive. This is So much cheaper and it is good enough. I got another one of this for my teenager and don't have to worry about him spoiling it since it's very cheap. Sound is ok but it does not cancel noise. so it depends on what you are looking for.  Show details

Good Value, Good Quality, – My set has been in use for about 3 years now for listening to a telly while not disturbing others. No issues at all with build and performance, but agree with criticisms about them being fiddly to seat properly in the cradle. At time of writing the battery life seems to have decreased from 90 mins to about 15. Probably needs a new Li-Ion battery pack. I would buy another set (if I cannot fix the operational time with a new battery).  Show details

Beautiful looking White noise generator. Constant hiss. Aweful audio! DON'T – I bought a set for $39 and then took it back 2 days later - was fully refunded the $39 b/c of severe hiss issues. Several BAD features – 1st is the sound quality, its poor, has no depth or bass quality even after adjusting the TV sound options! 2nd is the charging cradle,it very unreliable and fiddly, and does not contact the earphones without lots of jiggling. 3rd,is comfort, they are a very tight fit on the head. BUT, remember, you only get what you pay for!  Show details

Good in most areas – Bought these headphones to use on my TV so could do my gaming without everyone hearing. They work very well, are easy to set up and sound fine. The only problem is when I put back on the charging base they are very fiddly to get into the correct position to make contact for recharging. Sometimes Im trying for 5 minutes or more to make the right connection.  Show details
