Rangehood glass exploded! – Ranghood has worked ok - however without warning my wife and I were showered with glass when the rangehood glass literally exploded.Glass everywhere, dinner ruined -- slight cuts from flying fragments..unbelievable. Glass didn't fall -- wasn't knocked -- we didn't even use the oven that night -- and ka-boom.

Terrible – This appliance was highly recommended by Winnings Appliances as being top of the range in suction and efficiency - although the store we originally purchased it from no longer stocks it. we believe the filters do not have enough holes in them to function properly. In our opinion this product should not be sold in Australia because it simply doesn't do what it professes to do. We plan to tkae this matter further in the pubic domain - if you are interested in joining us please email solchris@optusnet.com.au Only looks good It doesn't function in the way a rangehood is supposed to function. It is quite useless. After turning it on for 5mins it starts to drip from the edges of the filter and it gets wet everywhere surrounding the rangehood including the splashback. I am forever drying the outside area with towels. After a couple months of use we had the flute changed because it was rusted. A month later we had the filters replaced because the clear coating was peeling. Now after only 3 years (with limited use) - the motor has gone.

Terrible – Fan motors not in stock when made enquiry on price and availability, poor customer service.Think Appliances stated that this product had no known problems. Replaced fan motor assembly with a ebmpapst model D2E146-HT67-01 removed electronic board, rewired motor through 4 position rotary step switch, with a light switch on a architrave plate.… Read more

Attractive curved glass canopy comes with 3yr warranty. Not very efficient and unreliable, after power failure the fan motor would be running even though it was not being used before the power interuption.

Push button electronic board failure during warranty,replaced.Fan motor failed just out of warranty, filters clear lacquer peeled shortly after installation.

Extraction ? What extraction ? – Unit was installed in house when purchased (along with a Baumatic oven on which the door glass literally exploded shortly after we moved in and cost more to repair than to buy another oven). to disintegrate when washed (metal filter mesh is glued to frame and the glue doesn't like hot water). Fan is so noisy that you cannot talk in the kitchen on any setting above 2. Absolute waste of space.

Unit appears incapable of actually doing what it is supposed to do - extract air / fumes from area above stove.

Terrible – Unit failed just out of warranty, and brushed off by retailer. Repair parts over $400.00 for motor assembly fitted. not recomended due to poor reliability and product support. Independant appliance repairer. None to speeak of Limited support from manufacturer, lack of technical detail in support documents macking fault finding more difficult.

Terrible – First motor defect after 16 Months. Had to wait for replacement motor for 4 weeks. Repair was not possible without remove of range hood so the ceiling had to be patched and repainted. Replaced motor had strong vibrations with noise transformation throughout the whole house. Replaced motor again defect after 10 months of use in a normal kitchen… Read more

with a 2 person family. I can not recommend this Range hood at all. Think twice if you buy this unit, because it’s not easy to change for an other brand after it is build in, because the missing of norms regarding measurement. You are stuck and you have maybe to replace after warranty motors every 12-18 months. This is not only a big hassle also very cost intense. For me never ever again. design Range hood is designed for 220 Volt and not for 240 Volt what we have in Australia. This range hood should not be sold in Australia.
