Average – Too fast on "quick wash" mode, doesn't clean as well as expected. Water level too low, needs to be a little more to actually wash clothes. I had other brands before like Samsung, LG and fisher & paykel. I would definitely prefer those brands over this baumatic one any day  Show details

Absolutely Crap – AVOID! AVOID! Pick up a used washer of any other brand would be guaranteed better option. It ripped clothes. Lint on clothes. Fabric is gone dull and seems like years old even new clothes and tangles while washing. Uses heaps of water. Holes in new clothes. TERRIBLE customer service from Baumatic! Absolutely waste of money.

Not a great machine – This machine was supplied with my rental property. It's not great. Like other reviews state, clothes/sheets/towels are always tangled and covered with lint. The filter appears to be missing, and I can't find one anywhere on the internet. It uses a whole lot of water too. I would not recommend this washer to anyone. If I had to say some positives... it's simple to operate, I guess.

Terrible - tangles and blew up – Machine is about a year and a half old. Blew up today - started smoking and smelt absolutely terrible. All of the clothes that were in the washing machine at the time now smell like smoke too. great value – I purchased this washing machine after owning a Baumatic dishwasher which I have been very happy with. This machine is not very expensive and that was part of the reason I purchased it. The last machine I owned was very expensive and when it recently stopped working it was going to cost almost as much to fix as buy a new one. It washers very well. I am careful not to over load the washing and have the correct water setting great value

Awful machine – My clothes are constantly entwined, I am finding holes in clothes when they aren't very old, Also the fabric seems to be wearing a lot quicker. I don't feel it washes very well, still so much fluff and cat fur is still on the clothes after a full wash. I am not happy at all with this machine and after 5 months I am looking to buy another one. Folding lid Clothes don't wash as well, clothes wearing out quicker and constant tangling

Awful! – I have never had such an awful machine before. The way it tangles up my clothes has to be seen to be believed. I have had to iron things that never needed it before and all the wires are coming out of my bras even though I put them in a wash bag. Its faster than hand washing, but since my clothes are ruined that advantage is minimal

Worst washing machine we have ever owned – This washing machine ties clothes up into a nice big tangle. Never ever use one if you have long pants as the legs get tangled. If happen to wear shorts with a cord in them, do not put more than one pair in at once, had to cut the cord from two pairs as they were so tightly tangled. The price, it was cheap. It was cheap, Guess it's the old story, you get what you pay for.

would not recommend!!! – my nephew bought this model in May 2011 and 4 months down the track it doesn't spin and the water level button does notwork. Being in Western Australia it takes for ever to get a technician and then to order the part is another two weeks...as a solo mum with 5 children and cannot afford to go to laundary matt it is not consumer friendly!!! time waster for the consumer

awful, worst washing machine i've ever had – this is such a finicky machine, eror messages coming up all the time. I have had to buy new attachments for the hoses because they are such poor quality plastic, they cannot handle the water pressure and leaked everywhere, would not reccomend this machine, it was cheap though so I guess you get what you pay for stopped all the time, to sensitive

Perfect washer for the limited space I have – Bought the 7kg Baumatic. Very well priced washer and performs very well. The lid folds in half which means the dryer can be wall mounted lower than normal. Have had no problems with the machine at all Washes well, very affordable, quiet operation
