this range hood as no longer available and they have no substitute. This will mean trying to find the component on the internet or replacing the whole unit. I have already had problems with my cook-top and oven which are also from this company. I would recommend that anyone being offered any product by from this company to ask for an alternative as you will have nothing but problems.

Powerful and works great - Filters are washable – This Baumatic range hood is Easy to use and works well, the twin fans makes everything work and all the steam gets taken though. I was going to use carbon filters but they are not needed when ducted so I just use the aluminium filters and wash them in the dishwasher. Show reply

Not able to get replaceable filters – This rangehood was existing in the house we bought it. Cleaned the metal grating and removed the oil soaked carbon filters. Thought it would be easy to buy new carbon filters as the instructions say to replace them every couple of months. Not the case. No one stocks them, some stores MAY be able to order them in for you. don't stock or supply them. Found one online appliance store that sold them for $79. a pair. The whole rangehood is only $145. We live in the country so don't have the option of going to all different places. On line is our only option. I think we will be left with replacing the entire rangehood with something that has washable filters and not carbon replaceable ones.
