Using the Beats Powerbeats Pro for several months completely changed the way I listened to music during workouts and daily routines. The first thing that stood out was how secure they felt thanks to the ear hook design. adjustment.

The sound quality was energetic and bass-heavy, which made workout playlists feel much more exciting. Songs had strong punch and clarity, especially for hip-hop, electronic music, and rock. At the same time, podcasts and phone calls sounded clear enough for everyday use. The earbuds also paired seamlessly with Apple devices, and the connection remained stable most of the time without random dropouts.

Battery life was another major advantage. I rarely worried about charging them because they easily lasted through long gym sessions and several days of casual listening. The charging case was larger than most modern earbud cases, but it provided enough extra power to make up for the bulkiness.

Comfort was mostly excellent, although after very long listening sessions the ear hooks could create slight pressure around the ears. The physical buttons on each earbud were surprisingly practical compared to touch controls, especially during workouts when sweaty fingers can make touch gestures unreliable.

One downside was the lack of active noise cancellation, which became more noticeable in crowded places or during travel. The case also felt less pocket-friendly compared to slimmer competitors. Still, the overall reliability, powerful sound, and secure fit made them one of the best wireless earbuds I have used for fitness and active everyday use.

Buyer beware: Buy these if you carry a backup pair with you everywhere you go. I’ve owned a pair of Beats Powerbeats Pro for about 2 years. They have had constant issues charging. For example, I’ll charge them overnight and try to use them the next morning and one headphone is at 3% battery and the other one is fully charged. I’ve returned them… Read more

to JB hifi Chermside and got a free replacement. However the same issue happened almost immediately so I took them back. JB hifi referred me onto the Apple Store in Chermside. I left them with Apple and after a few weeks was told that the charging port had “signs of rust” likely due to sweat when using them for running and not wiping them dry after each use. They charged me about $60 to replace the damaged part. I’m now on my 3rd pair. I dry them after each use and even leave them out of the case to air dry before placing them back in but the same charging issue happens regularly. I bought them for running but they aren’t sweat proof. They were about $310. For that price I expected quality. Waste of money and time. Never buying again.

Very disappointed – Got this as a gift from my wife, a waste of $400, my service station special is on par with these, I'll give them credit that the do feel secure, but NO bass, NOT loud, NOT sound cancelling at all, average sound quality. even with the smaller plugs everyone could hear my music clearly, The blue colour is nice Show details

Perfect headphones, high fidelity sound with good bass, but… – I love the headphones themselves. Good battery life and grip your ears, great sound with plenty of kick for being headphones which can be crucial depending on what music you listen to, don’t look silly like AirPods do and are big enough that they’re harder to lose. Ear strap keeps them from ever leaving your ears unless you want them to. HOWEVER I… Read more

take an entire star for how unwieldy and brick-like the case is. The weight and curved edges make it almost impossible to grab a hold of and causes it to slip right out of purses and pockets like an ice cube, causing it to fall and even break. Have already gone through two of them. Fortunately the headphones are the expensive part, but the case design needs to be completely reworked. Great product otherwise.

Great sound, comfy fit, some annoying Bluetooth issues – Overall I would say these headphones are very good for running - they sit very comfortably, and never fall out regardless of pace. The sound quality is much better than what I expected - sometimes it feels like you are at a concert. There are only two drawbacks - the charging case is massive, truly massive - it's both huge and heavy, you can't… Read more

just carry it on a casual basis. And Bluetooth pairing at times is annoying - sometimes, completely random, only one ear phone connects, then you have to put both ear phones back in the heavy case, close it, re-open it and then it works. So you can't just grab the earphones and go for a run, you always have to check first if they paired okay. Otherwise you risk running with music playing only in one ear

Indestructible – These sound great, the connect seamlessly and have a good range, they’re comfortable and easy to wear (if not so easy to put back in their box) but the best thing is they’re tough! Sturdy, don’t come loose, but the ear hooks don’t allow the buds to sit in your ear properly so you lose significant bass and overall sound. If I pull the ear piece forward and down, directing the sound to my ear canal, the bass is good and so is the volume. Not a great design. Show details

I have the power Beats Pro wireless ear buds. Have had them for 3 yr. At first they work great but 3 yr down the track they have trouble connecting and the battery life is about an hour or less per earbud. them because they are comfortable and stay on even while hanging upside down and spinning on a pole. However, now I think they are garbage. For the price I paid when they were new ($400 AUD) they should’ve lasted longer. Thanks to Apple and power Beats for polluting the environment since these will likely end up in the bin. Will definitely be looking for an alternative.

‘FindMy’ doesn’t work if pro charger case is closed – I’ll be looking to see if there’s a better alternative iPhone compatible sports ear bud. Cost $259AUD on special. Would be less stars if I’d paid full $400 price. They’re not bad but not great either. Cons: Full volume with other background noise going on (vacuuming) is not loud enough. uneven charge issue (left one not charging each time) People complain about sound quality when using for phone calls so doing chores (even carefully) and having a chat at the same time isn’t an option. This is a big issue for me. My biggest concern is you cannot use the Find My feature with these if you have misplaced them & they’re in their pro charging case & it’s closed. It might show you where you were last connected. You’ll know you’re not going to connect with it when you can’t see it as a device when you open settings. It wouldn’t be hard for Apple to make these with ‘FindMy’ actionable with the case closed. Recommend you stick an apple air tag to it if you’re likely to misplace it. Also, use a label maker, put your phone number and attach inside the case. Pro’s: Battery lasts longer than stated. Good sound quality. Better connection with iPhone than some other brands. Don’t need extra app on phone. It’s sets as an extra device to iPhone. Secure ear loops for active movement.

Apple - Worst customer service ever experienced – Product was faulty out of the box, 5 phone calls to Apple "Support" to resolve to no avail. No wonder they are discontinuing this faulty product. Just another big Company that does not care about customer service or addressing their customer's disappointment in purchasing their product. Show details

Good sound. Connection and charging issues mean i wouldn't buy them again – Reason they get 2 stars and not zero is they are comfortable, battery life is good (when they charge) and sound is great. I wear them running almost daily. Connection issues - connect to iphone easily, always struggles to connect to my Garmin Fenix 7. I normally start trying to connect them while putting my shoes on, they fail, hit retry on… Read more

the Garmin, works (sometimes takes a 3rd go). Tried all the online troubleshooting like resetting/reconnecting but same problem. Charging Issues - This is the main frustration: I put them in the charging case, hear them "click" into position but the left one tends to not charge and drains to empty. So I always check the charge 30 minutes before i plan to go for a run as on the plus side, their quick charge is pretty good. I've experimented with the issue, wiggling them into position and seeing on the iphone that they are charging, but then when the case is closed one of them can stop charging. I do not recommend this product as you will be constantly having to dedicate extra time and attention to having them work as advertised. I wouldn't buy them again.

The single, most frustrating item I own – These powerbeat pro’s are the songle, most frustrating item I own, in fact so frustrating I can no longer use them. Sent to Apple once for repair under warranty, they worked for a week then started playing up again to the point they simply do not charge. I did read reviews stating this prior to purchasing but assumed the users were simply not charging them correctly, this is not the case. Waste of Money – The usual opening line, would give zero stars if I could. These earbuds are terrible. Don't Buy These – I bought these six weeks ago and have had regular intermittent problems with the right earphone not charging and/or not connecting. agree in advance that if Beats "deemed" that the problem was not covered by warranty (and of course they would) then they would charge for the repair. So no earphones for a month probably to be told either there is nothing wrong with them or charged for a repair. Effectively there is no warranty and you have to go without your earphones for a month. For the price the performance (poor connection) and support is unacceptable and not worth it. You may be lucky and they work. If not and you buy a lemon like me, you are on your own.

I never know if I have connected or not and Apples settings make no sense.

The connection will jump from pc to phone then it won’t reconnect and then it suddenly does and I’m sure the signal doesn’t extend as far as the pink. Maybe I’m imagining it.

on my iPhone I can see battery levels and use the volume and track controls. When I I am not using them and I do not have the case with it, it is very convenient and safe to hook the ear piece over my shirt and I don't loose them. The charge time is fast. Two things I don't like. 1) sometimes they do not charge properly and particularly the left ear bud is flat or maybe 2% battery life, so so annoying. To remedy this, I get a more reliable charge if the case is always flat. 2) when on a call, the people listening to me often says they can not hear me, I really don't think the microphone is as great as Apple says it is. I do like the headphones but I wouldn't automatically buy them again if they broke, I would definitely shop around and see what else is available.

Worst of all, dealing with the retailer to get issues addressed was terrible. Apple’s policy is for units to be professionally repaired if more than 90 days has passed since purchase - that’s reasonable and does meet their obligations. Repair took three weeks, and the unit continued to present the same issues, so I took it straight back requesting a refund.

The retailer advised that before offering a refund, Apple requires at least three attempts at repairing the unit. At the prospect of a further three weeks without headphones and sceptical at the prospects of successful repair, I thought this was unreasonable. I had to escalate the issue to the store manager, and cite consumer law rights before receiving a refund. End to end - poor product, and poor after sales support (owing to Apple’s policy).

ears like few other in-ear headphones I’ve used. They’re obviously designed for sport and the more active lifestyles these are just not going to fall out of your ears. The hook that wraps a round your ear, and the way they fit snug in your ear mean that they’re just not going anywhere. I don’t find them too invasive either, but then I’m used to in-ear buds that go reasonably deeply into your ear. I used then for about few hour's straight while mountain biking and didn't notice any discomfort. I’ll say up front is that I’m using these headphones exclusively with an Android phone – namely my galaxy note 10+. From an overall perspective, the headphones work really well. You pair them like any other set of bluetooth headphones, There are excellent hardware buttons replicated on both sides, with a neat little volume rocker and a very light-touch button to pause, fast forward or long-press. A triple press it does a rewind, but that’s a bit harder to consistently invoke in my experience. It’s worth noting that the powerbeats Pros do work with Google Assistant. While they’re undoubtedly built for working with Siri on apple devices, a long press of the button when paired with an Android phone will bring up a prompt to choose an assistant on first press (Google Assistant was offered in my case). I chose Google Assistant, and from then on it works nicely. You do need to press a button to invoke an assistant – where as Siri can be invoked handsfree with an iPhone. And it doesn’t work as well as something like the Google Earbuds which will offer read back texts to you and let you respond to WhatsApp messages. But all in all I'm very pleased with the overall performance build quality and sound quality and would definitely recommend them for anyone who has a active lifestyle.

me wrong AirPods good but it’s not for everyone, specially for who like to go gym and do some physical task like jumping, running etc. Powerbeats pro is best choice, it won’t go anywhere it will stick to your ear no matter what you do, thanks to the ear hooks. If you buy Powerbeats pro you miss noise cancelling feature, although it’s water/sweat resist. If you traveling lot for example on flights it won’t cancel that noise but it does decent job. I personally use SONY mdr 1000x noise cancelling headphones for travelling. In addition, put correct eartip size on beats pro and you get the amazing bass and overall good music quality. It’s not bad at all. So in conclusion Powerbeats pro for good hold, sound quality, good form gym and other activities, where AirPod pro for casual to normal use (i do not recommend gym) in my person opinion. Thank you
