Beauty Stop

I love Beauty Stop at Morayfield. The staff are always friendly and prices very reasonable. I won't go anywhere else.

Terrible customer service – Wanted to treat my daughter and I both for gel manicures. Nails are definitely a want not a need and so it was going to be a real treat. Stated that we wanted 2x gel manicure, but what we got was super gluggy old crusty nail varnish that should have been thrown out some time ago. The staff member just carried on using it instead of offering us to switch the colour.

We had 3 staff work on my nails and my daughter had 1 thick coat of colour only, no filing, no creams, no massage, no lamps to dry varnish or top coat. And her varnish has already come off. It’s like they decided because she is a child, she simply wasn’t worth the effort.

I sat and waited and eventually had to ask a staff member to come back and give me a second clear coat on my glitter nails as it felt like 80 grit sandpaper rough and catchy. The cream was applied but rubbed in and not massaged like I expected as well as no cuticle oil applied. Another customer also interrupted my nails to come back after leaving as she didn’t have any oil applied. They staff talked amongst themselves and glared at me. If only I had my translator app working at the time. I was not offered a lamp to dry the varnish at anytime and they charged me $60 total and budgeted for $120.m for the 2 gel manicures.

When I stood up to pay again I waited for someone to attend to me and the staff after talking amongst themselves finally realised that I was waiting to pay. We did not get what I wanted or was willing and budgeted to pay for. Simply put we are both disappointed by the service and won’t be coming back!

I’ve been working in retail for 20 years and am shocked by the lack of customer service relations.
