pure shock at the lack of basic professional standards here. I went in a blonde with one very clear, specific rule: stay blonde, do not go brown. I even made sure they understood it. I walked out with dark brown, muddy, chemically fried hair.

​It’s the lack of care that gives you the ick. To sit in a chair and be so clear about your identity, only for a "professional" to do the exact thing you told them would ruin your self-esteem, is honestly creepy. It felt like they weren't even listening to the person in the chair.

​The worst part is the damage. My hair doesn't feel like hair anymore; it feels like straw. When I tried to get them to take responsibility for ignoring the brief and trashing my hair, they just didn't want to know. It’s a total lack of integrity.

​If you care about your hair’s health or actually getting the colour you pay for, stay well away. They’ve managed to make me feel completely washed out and pale, and they don't seem to care one bit that they've caused this. Absolute cowboys. Avoid at all costs.

uncomfortable. The stylist also burned my scalp with the hairdryer. They did say sorry at the time but then moved on quickly. When I explained that my scalp felt sore, I was told it was fine and not red. Although I had already paid, I decided to leave in the middle of the blow-dry, but they insisted on finishing the service. Later, I again mentioned that my scalp still hurt, but I was repeatedly told it was not red. I was also told I could go somewhere else if I wasn’t happy, which felt dismissive and unprofessional.

Previously, when I had nanoplasty treatments done elsewhere, the results lasted around seven months. However, this time the treatment lasted just over three weeks, which is completely unacceptable given the cost and the expectations set during consultation.

I was also advised to purchase specific BKT products to maintain the treatment, but despite following the recommended aftercare, the results did not last. This makes me question both the quality of the products suggested and the service provided.

Overall, I feel extremely dissatisfied and misled. The service did not deliver the promised outcome, and I do not believe I received value for the amount paid. I hope the salon reviews this seriously and takes responsibility for the poor results.

I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about. They may reflect more on the reviewer than Valonz Haircutters. It is expensive, so I suggest looking on social media to ensure you like the stylist's previous work, but I prefer quality over quantity when visiting a salon.

On the day of my big transformation, Marjone ensured that my every need was met and all the team was a pleasure to be amongst. I left feeling like a goddess and Max was definitely my hero, but better still, the next day I got up and still looked fantastic, my hair was the same as Max said it would be, thanks to her cut.
