Permanently scarred my skin :(
I asked how much it would cost for milia removal and the girl said $89 which I thought was reasonable so I made an appt for the next week. One of the girls took me into the room and told me the procedure wouldn't hurt too much but may pinch and she proceeded to hand me an electrode and put a stinging electric needle into each of my milia and squeezed really hard. It hurt to bad I had to ask her to stop on several occasions. I asked why she didn't provide any numbing if it was going to feel as if she was literally burning holes into my skin and ...she said it was due to Covid restrictions. I'm not sure I believe her, maybe she just didn't want to wait for the numbing cream to numb. The whole thing was over in 20min and she told me I had to buy a serum and cream to help it heal and reduce the marks and that the procedure was over $100. In total I paid around $180 for the first session and they told me to come back. I cancelled my second appt and its been nearly two months and I have really obvious dark scars on every single spot the lady stabbed me with the needle. The girls barely know what they're doing and have no care in what they do. A friend of mine also went to this clinic for a different procedure and she also had a terrible overpriced experience.
First time going to a skin clinic, told the staff my concerns and she sold me a package. she didn’t explain why I needed it . Just told me I needed it. I bought it. Received two treatments. No after care instructions given. No explanation on what she does. I had to keep asking her questions. up sells me another mask, but doesn’t tell me what it’s for. Tried to change to another branch, this branch doesn’t ever answer the phone or return my calls. Don’t recommend if you are a first timer.
Took my money for a treatment they wont do and refused to refund me
Do not go here. I was sold a laser package and booked in. When I turned up I was told they dont have the laser machine required to do my treatment. And was told to trek on a 2 hour round trip to another clinic. When I explained I wasn't told this upon purchase by the reception lady (I went in store to purchase) and even booked in for my treatment (which just shows I wasn't told) I was told "we have a no refund policy, you need to go to the other clinic or put it towards a facial". I have now gone round in circles to head office twice and multip...le times to the clinic to get a refund and they are point blank refusing..three weeks later they still have my cash for a treatment they cant do. So they took hundreds of dollars of my money for treatments they do not do and are refusing to give my money back. Worst customer service Ive ever received. And still unresolved. They have basically stolen my money and I got nothing for it. Disgusting

The photos speak for themselves. The two black jumper pics are after the first mini treatment; the others are after Clearskincare treatments and my skin now has long-term damage.
Staff contradicted themselves and my skin worsened with every treatment. When staff refused to refund me I spoke to Dr McCafferty. She blamed the reaction on polycystic ovaries (I didn't have them) and because I'd stopped the pill 6 months prior (both ideas dismissed by my GP). McCafferty still told me to stop her treatments and give my skin time to heal on its own! ...They also told me to go on the pill and take antibiotics to try and help my skin (this from a skin clinic). Months living with the skin you see in the pictures, they told me LED Light Therapy treatments would help (I was desperate and the girls seemed so genuine) There weren't any improvements. They then ignored me for 2 YEARS while I sent countless emails and made numerous phone calls asking for a refund and explaining that the "complimentary treatments" they think they gave me were in fact ones I had prepaid for that they wouldn't refund. They didn't respond when I showed them that my skin was severely worse than before I went in and kept telling me I'd get a call back but I didn't; they even blocked me on Facebook and told me they were 'having issues' with their iPad so they couldn't send all of my photos. It was only when I said I'd post what I had happened that they responded and offered me a refund, but only if I signed a deed of release stopping me from posting anything anywhere (uploaded here). I went to Fair Trading, who Clearskincare Clinics ignored twice, then spoke to a lawyer who said they were in breach of Australian Consumer Law (they can now be fined for using a deed in this way). I finally got my refund, but years on and my skin is still so much worse than before I went in. I still have acne that their SGA is meant to help with, but now with a lot more scars, marks and what looks like burst capillaries where they used the SGA. I've spoken to others on here who had similar experiences. Be wary of the amazing reviews on here - I assumed all was good when I read them too but I don't see any pictures like mine or the other girls' I've spoken to posted anywhere on their pages. If you've had a similar experience feel free to message me I might be able to help. Otherwise honestly stay away and go to a proper dermatologist - I've still not found anything that can reverse the damage caused at this clinic.
Beautician should be fired
I went there a year ago as I have acne and got a facial. I had no knowledge of skin care and the lady gave me these products to use and i bought them. Little did i know that she prescribed me to use salicylic acid all over my face EVERY DAY. And because of my lack of knowledge I did what I was told. It absolutely destroyed my skin barrier and I didn't know what was going wrong as the acne got worse and worse. I then researched what I was doing and figured out what I was doing was extremely harsh for anyone... Even though it was that one beautician that told me wrong information - the company as a whole should not hire someone with such lack of knowledge. Would never go again
Over-quoting and dishonest
The Edgecliff clinic management is poor to say the least. I traveled 3 hours for an appointment and when I got there the machine hadn't been checked and was faulting. They spent an hour trying to fix it before telling me I would have to come back another time and offered me a complementary facial (which I didn't need or want). There was no procedure for checking the machine before my arrival (they knew I was traveling a long distance). While there, the receptionist had over quoted me on the treatment price by $240 which I took at face value. It...took me 3 weeks to negotiate with the Manager for an appropriate compensation which was a reduction off my next treatment. This was again over quoted by $240 making the "discount" still $79 above the price listed on the website. I had to point this out to the manager, yet no reason was given why they had over-quoted me on two separate occasions.. I found communicating with them very difficult. I would not recommend this clinic, I don't think the over-quoting on treatments was a mistake.. The person from head office was able to resolve this for me however, no justification for the over-quote was ever provided. Avoid this clinic if you can. Very dishonest behaviour and not at all taking care of their clients.
Amazing results!!! Amazing staff!! Extremely professional!!!
My son who has severe cystic acne and I have both been coming here for 2years and we have had the most ‘amazing successful treatments,’ ‘amazing professional staff,’ and ‘amazing products’!! We have been to several dermatologists over the years and none have suggested treatments that work until we started coming here! Holly, Ellen, Chelsea and all the rest of the skin technicians are so personable , supportive, helpful and extremely professional!!
I would highly recommend anyone to book their treatments at this skin care clinic at Bondi Junction although I’m sure other clinics in Sydney are all as good as each other!!
They also have regular amazing specials and packages!! Best skin clinic in Sydney by far!!
Waste of money
The staff were lovely hence the two stars, but in regards to the Dermapen (skin needling) I definitely wasted my money. I could tell the clinic is very KPI driven as my first visit (I don’t have many pimples mind you, mostly blackheads) I was told I needed a minimum of six sessions (the information said 4 sessions for best results) and another 4 sessions of something else to reduce skin pigmentation. I’d only booked in the two sessions which I have since had done both, and I see absolutely no improvement in my skin. My skin is now much more sen...sitive, pores are more visible and breakouts automatically blister which last much longer than usual. I do understand ‘to see best results you need 4 sessions’ however you would think after doing 2 sessions of needling which is $200+ per session, I would be seeing some improvement as per website stating results can be seen after first session. I am also using all face products recommended morning and night. I went into another Skincare Clinics store and asked the therapist if she would recommend skin needling for me in which she said ‘you definitely do not need it, I would recommend ..’ while the therapist I did see told me I needed a minimum six sessions. Mind you dermapen comes under ‘Anti Ageing’ on the website rather than ‘skin or acne’ and I am 22.... Quite disappointed.
Amazing service@Chermside clinic
I was very pleased with service there. I did a whole body laser hair removal. This was my second appointment and I would highly recommend to everybody. A special thanks to Clare, very professional, knowledgeable and quick. Great sense of humor too!!!
Mac square clinic ( Campbelltown) stay away .. they are body shaming, unprofessional and give wrong advice . Not to mention Natalee and Jess. They pretend to care but they don’t .. dept of fair trading and media all the way .. putrid company! I have since heard so many stories about them. Very sad they are all about the money
Awful! Waste of time, money and a Saturday morning.
I legitimately cannot recall the last time that I took a moment to write an online review for anything but I feel I need to warn people to stay far away from the Shortland Street location. I booked a microdermabrasion facial over the phone last week. I drove into the city and arrived early and my esthetician was actually 20 minutes late. Then during my consult I was informed that they do not in face have a microdermabrasion machine. (They could have told me this over the phone when I booked it.) She recommended a peel instead and since I was al...ready there and had waited - sure. She cleaned my face and did this peel and in total the whole thing took ten/fifteen minutes. I asked if such a short time would do anything and she assured me three minutes of the peel serum was enough. (Huh?) She then said that she would throw in for free 15 minutes under an LED light left the room and came back and said her next client was there so the receptionist would finish with me. It was a total waste of time, money, effort, a CBD parking fee and a Saturday morning. Super disappointed. Avoid this place peeps! My office is across the road and I will be warning the women in my department too.
Don't look anywhere else
This is my second laser visit at the clinic in Northland, I honestly found results within the first visit and I have a very light hair colour undertone. This treatment didn't work elsewhere. The staff are so lovely. The area is always clean, I feel safe even during COVID. And the prices are great. Annie is so professional and so welcoming

Amazing customer service and treatment
I went into the Mt Lawley clinic 5 days ago to see Tara as i am wanting to prep my skin for my wedding next year. The girls here are all so lovely and i felt like my treatment was very thorough and as this was an intensive treatment she set me up with everything i needed to know in the days following my treatment. As i am a shift worker Tara created a Skin Program to suit my busy schedule but also to ensure i get the best results. i have been using CSC products for a while and am so happy to finally be able to commit to the treatments aswell. Cant wait to see my final results.

Hi I just purchased some of the products but cannot remember the way I should use it. Is it possible to get some assistance with it. Thanks
Apple stem cell serum
Copper peptide serum
Clearskincare C.Clearskincare Clinics
We recommend using your serum's first - you can use either the Copper Peptide or Apple Stem Cell serum as your first step. Afterward, use your Lighten Cream as your next step and then your Sunscreen as your last.
Hopefully this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
