We had a warranty issue on a 9 month old d washing machine and Beko made every excuse under the sun not to fix it, After 5 calls (which they don't reply to), they decided it was user's fault, a crack in the drum from a coin in the wash, I stated that surely the machines should cope with a coin as this is a unintentional but common thing, they told… Read more

me the get 12-15 similar faults every couple of months but still wouldn't admit it a fault in machine, I have had many machines before and never had this issue, they said machines today are not has strong as they used to be, the 5 year warrenty they offer is not worth much, I will never buy their products again

When our Miele went phut we got a Beko as it was among the lowest price with a huge warranty of 10 yrs on motor and 5 on everything else. it has performed flawlessly and with less drama than other washers. The bluetooth is pointless but the point and shoot dial with adjustments for temp and spin speed give everything we need. highly recommended. Show details ·  1

Avoid Beko washing machine – For the first time I bought a Beko washing machine in May 2024. Soon after purchase there was an electrical issue followed by a drum issue, and then a new machine had to be issued. With the second machine, water leaked from the hose causing damage to my floors (but that was an installation problem). Then in January 2025 I opened the door of the… Read more

machine and the cover to the door fell on my toe - it really hurt but nothing appears to be broken.

Dealing with Beko regarding the first machine was a good experience: efficient, helpful and respectful (thank you to Jairus who handled that). Dealing with Beko the second time was a completely opposite experience and because of that would not purchase another Beko product again. I was told by the person who took the call 'to be careful with the machine', implying I hadn't been (?), and that they were doing me a favour by sending me a new door to put on myself - which I made clear wouldn't be happening. They eventually agreed to cover the costs of sending a crew around to put on the new door, which Beko said wasn't covered under warranty! No idea why it wouldn't be. Overall, I was spoken to like a person who had done the wrong thing, and placed all the blame on me, with no responsibility for their product at all.

Attached images of the cover to the door that fell off, and the new door (that I was told would be sent to the business attaching it to the machine, but was sent to me instead) in a bashed-up box which I hope doesn't mean the new door is damaged in anyway.

I use only one cycle on the machine as the others don't seem to address regular washing needs within a reasonable time frame. I also tried the 'Wool Handwash' cycle and it shrunk my pure wool jumper making it unwearable.

P.S. I recently noticed water under the machine at the front. When I phoned Beko in Australia, the agency they used and I liked no longer deal with Beko (I wonder why?) Now waiting for an agent to look at the problem. The person I spoke with at Beko quite condescending.

Not the worst machine but I wouldn't recommend – -Setting up the app was annoying. I gave up. -Buttons on the machine screen can be frustrating to use as you have to firmly press/ hold and it can take multiple times to change. -During multiple washes I've had the machine finish washing the load but still have water pooled at the base, leaving my clothes soaked. This is even without filling the… Read more

machine very much either. I've never yet filled the machine with 9kg load and firmly believe there's no way my machine could handle it. - Washing machine especially struggles with draining water when bed sheets or towels are being washed - I wish the machine had more spin/rotation selections in auto program. Jumps from 800 spins to 1200. - I find my clothes and towels all come out quite rough. I have to religiously use fabric softer for it to be decent.

I would not recommend this machine to others.

Average. Preferred older model – Older model was better, spin speed faster and more cycles to choose from; this one 28mins short or 113mins. Remote app unreliable and was sold to me that I could download app, load machine and start outside of home which I thought was great. Not true- basically can log on and see how long cycle has left so not as described by salesperson. Wish we… Read more

had of explored other brands but already had Beko dryer and also was persuaded by the app, regretfully now.

Excellent Washing Machine – Recommended by Rezzie at Forster. Proved to be an excellent washing machine. Large capacity, simple to operate, very quiet with no vibration whatsoever. Clothes come out clean and the 1400 rpm spin dry is exceptional. And 5 year parts and labour warranty. Show details

Check your machine for rust! – I bought this washing machine based on someone’s recommendation. I noticed the washing machine had a crack in the connector of the water drainage hose after installation and got in touch with the retailer with a photo. Beko was quick to authorise DOA which meant I got a replacement straightaway. The second washing machine had some brown spots at… Read more

the bottom, where a cover is needed to reduce noise - I find this weird as other washing machines I've owned in the past don't need to be flipped underneath to install a cover. These brown spots cannot be wiped away with a damp cloth which indicates rust. I got authorised by the retailer for a third replacement. This time, the driver helped me check the bottom before they did anything else. Alas, the rust spots were so bad that some white paint already came off in other sections! The driver immediately apologised and told me he would contact the retailer to have this returned. He told me to consider another brand as this is the manufacturer’s fault. Please check the bottom of your washing machine for rust spots and be cautioned!

pleasantly surprised – After buying a top of the line Bosch machine in 2010 which I loved - it died just after warranty expired. Inherited a 2010 Simpson which still lives except the door handle broke and you cant get replacement doors since they don't make Simpson anymore. I have 3 year old Beko fridge and dishwasher that I am happy with, so jumped at Betta Home… Read more

Living deal of $999 on this model washing machine. Love it after 3 days and 6 washes. Quiet, great spin. Super easy to programme. Love the detergent and softener dose option. All washes were under scrutiny.....very super soiled work clothes, shirts, jeans, sheets, towels....all washed far superior to my last two front loaders! I know it's early days but thought I'd share anyway. Will update as time goes on.

Do not buy ANY Beko products, unless you’re feeling adventurous – Brought a washing machine and heat pump dryer a couple of years ago, was going to buy something else but was talked out of it because of the ‘extra’ warranty’s Beko offered. Their warranty means absolutely nothing! Big mistake. First the machine stopped working about 6 months in, they couldn’t fix it. This was after dealing with their customer… Read more

service who were let’s call them lacklustre. That’s a nice term for it.

So they take the machine away, and all of a sudden they ‘find’ a screw on this inside of it, somehow... So it’s conveniently not covered by warranty. Too bad essentially you have a new machine that was about $1100, now I’m like a dog with a bone and these guys would not budge. In the end I got a lawyer friend involved, and they offered me a new machine at the cost of $500 ultimately I had to take that or I did not have a machine that would work and I would be out of pocket $1100 bucks, and still need to buy a washing machine. Then there is the dryer which I must admit for the first couple of years I didn’t have any problems with again $1000 so we are two years in and this is starting to play up, no big surprise there, I’ve just been waiting for it.

No point even calling their customer service they don’t do anything.

Back to the ‘new’ 2.0 washing machine, this one is now playing up, makes weird sounds.

I have a Kogan washing machine in the shed for hubby work clothes, that we paid $550 for that is a better product. Buy that instead, Beko are not a quality product! And I’m still peeved about it.
