Great operation and very quiet to use – Great washing machine compared to the LG I had. Very quiet and stable, does not move around and easy to initially set up. I'm pleased with my purchase and look forward to having it for quite some time. Show details

Very average washing machine – Bought this washing machine about 20 months ago mainly because of the price. Not overly impressed with it though. Negatives: - The timing of the load always changes. One minute I look and it has 8 minutes to go... next time I look it's back up to 26 minutes left???? Very frustrating when you want to hang a load out before you leave the house. -… Read more

It's quite loud compared to my previous washing machines. - Detergent often gets stuck in the slider compartment and goes hard so I need to manually remove it. - Water and now mould has built up between the seals which stains clothes if they end up squished in there. - If I have a woollen jumper it is too heavy for the machine to spin dry so it comes out soaking wet.

Positives: - Cheap compared to other machines

So I wouldn't recommend this to others. I would rather spend that bit extra and get a reliable brand.

Beko Washing Machine – I recently bought a Beko washing machine but the doors can’t be opened. Customer service refused to help despite long waiting on the phone and what they requested via email is contradictory to what they said via phone. Buy Beko product at your own risk Show details

Noisy and it somehow walks – Dad brought this washing machine around a year ago. It has caused nothing but agony since. The machine is so loud that I'm shocked we haven't gotten noise complaints. The machine walks to a point where it blocks the laundry door. It also broke the my family's washing machine stand! Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

Surprisingly impressed – We had to change our AEG washing machine of 16 years with our Beko. We started looking at all machines and we stumbled upon this model. We've had it for 3 weeks now and pretty impressed. Quiet and efficient. Well featured. Unbeatable value. And at the moment 5year warranty.and 10 on motor. Would recommend.. Show details

Beyond expectations – I recently acquired the Beko BFL8510W 8.5kg Front Loading Washing Machine, and I'm thrilled to share that it has far exceeded my expectations. We purchased because the space we had was too small for the normal size washing machine. This compact front loader has proven to be a great addition to my laundry routine, delivering impressive results… Read more

while maintaining a surprisingly quiet operation.

The washing options provided by this machine perfectly suit my family's diverse requirements. With a range of programs including Cottons, Bedding, and the convenient Auto Program, it offers versatility to tackle various washing tasks effectively. The inclusion of a Pet Hair Removal function is also helpful.

One of the key highlights is the highly energy-efficient ProSmart inverter motor, which not only contributes to fantastic performance but also operates with minimal noise.

While the machine has performed well, I did encounter a minor issue when using powder detergent. Overtime, I found that pre-mixing the powder with water is necessary to prevent any residue. I believe this is more a factor of our water conditions than a fault of the machine itself. It's a small consideration that doesn't overshadow the machine's overall performance.

One feature that has truly impressed me is the steam clean function. It adds a valuable dimension to the machine's capabilities, ensuring a thorough and hygienic clean. I'm genuinely delighted with my new washing machine and appreciate the array of handy functions it offers.

In conclusion, the Beko BFL8510W 8.5kg Front Loading Washing Machine has proven to be a reliable and feature-rich choice. It combines practicality with performance, and despite a minor quirk related to water pressure, it has become an invaluable asset to my household. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a compact yet powerful front-loading washing machine with a host of convenient features.

Cross Grade from our Miele – We had a Miele for 20 years. When our eldest moved out, we decided to get a bigger washing machine and give the Miele to our eldest. We should have upgraded long ago. The Good - The wash machine was easy to install and set up - The door is easy to open - The wash machine is mostly easy to use - The wash comes out at least as good as the Miele. … Read more

Towels come out much softer than the Miele. Delicates came out in great condition. - The wash machine is relatively quiet and has less noise and vibration than the Miele - The clothing comes out drier than the Miele (quicker drying) - The five year warranty is excellent, especially for the price

The Not So Good - The user manual is very poor. The symbols for advanced features are obscure and not particularly well explained. - The detergent tray is very poorly designed and doesn't sit properly. This is a simple sliding mechanism. The Miele was much better designed in this area - The wash cycle is far slower than the Miele (about twice as long) - The finish is plastic and it feels cheap compared to the Miele - The bluetooth feature makes no statement on privacy. I don't need my washing machine dialing home to report my usage. - The touch panel is nowhere near as nice as Miele's buttons. I much prefer tactile buttons - The layout of the panel is confusing. The dial should point to the text (ie. in the middle), not to the line. My wife and I had to second guess a few times.

Conclusion + Great value for money + Does the basics very well + The wash comes out great - The plastic finish is sub-par - It's slow - The feedback (eg. timer when finished, is the machine overloaded), etc. is all missing.

Water leaking from the top inside – Just had the machine leaking from just behind the refuse hose. I opened up the back and found a small black hose. After swearing at the machine and trying to figure out if a plug for the hose might of shot off; I found a nipple on the back of the drum. I pushed the end of the hose back onto the nipple and now it is working great. The Scooby gang will be proud. Show details

free 5 yrs warranty – Bought this machine from Appliances online mainly because of the 5 yr warranty, and also because Appliances online delivery is outstanding, they unpack the machine, install it, take away the old machine and all the packaging. I wash all together on the auto program laundry is very clean even though red dirt stains usually are nearly impossible to get out. Show details

Cheap quality and durability – Bought this washing machine in 2020. This product is the most cheapest quality machines I ever purchased. Our First Front Loader – Our Beko Front Loader washing machine is very nosy, hard to clean the inside of the drum. Tends to hold moisture in the seals which have become mouldy and stained. Have not found a way to remove this from the seals. Very long cycles for cottons and cool clean. Often leaves residue from other cycles on the current wash. The features are fairly easy… Read more

Not as good as other Beko appliances – This is my first front loader, so I've had to get used to things like how they treat towels, and the occasional small leak from the door seal during wash cycle. As others have said, it can be noisy, I keep the spin cycle on 800 due to the noise and trying to minimise flatness to the towels piling. I have made sure it's not overloaded, no fabric… Read more

stuck in door seal and the legs are levelled and locked but I still get the occasional door leak or loud "walking" movement. The app is convoluted and complicated but you need it to access most extra wash options like soaking, extra rince, speed wash etc. Not as good as my Beko fridge and dryer, I would probably not buy it given a second chance.

Huge time adjustments – **I have edited this review to downgrade my rating. I wish I'd never bought this machine. Either their customer service is awful, or they just can't design a decent machine with sensible programs. I hate the fact that I can't do a 2.17 wash. Gastro in the house, and the only way i can do a full cycle bumps the time from 2.17 to 3.17. I don't want… Read more

to cut back to 1.28 (because, gastro!), but I don't have 3.17 to wait for every wash when we have multiple to do. What annoys me the most is that I feel that my machine is just programmed incorrectly (because surely no machine would be designed this way!? Or maybe it has been, so don't buy it just in case), but the customer service team haven't helped at all. They have basically said it doesn't happen. It's a shame, because I was a repeat purchaser of Beko, because even though they're cheaper, I'd always had a good experience. Never again**

Most things about this machine are good, but I have one major gripe. When I put it on Cottons regular (2.17 length. It's one of the only settings stated to do a full, thorough, load) it very often gets to 2.02 and then instead of ticking over to 2.01, it adds a full hour to 3.02. this makes the total time about 3.17 which is just way too long. This time adjustment doesn't happen when I do the Fast add-on which is 1.28, and no issues with most other settings I've tried (although it's done the same thing on Auto, at exactly the same time). I understand I can just do the Fast option, but sometimes I just want to wash my clothes in the full, more thorough, cycle that takes 2.17, but this seems impossible unless I only have a few items of clothing in the machine.

I contacted Beko and they sent out someone to look at it, who said there is no issue and that it's just readjusting based on the load. I honestly don't believe it...but if this is true, I really can't believe a washing machine could be knowingly programmed to add a whole hour (nearly 50% more than stated) even for a half full load, and only at a specific time (2.02). And I have no idea what that does for water consumption, but being on tank water, I do worry about it using more unnecessarily. The fact that it happens only on that setting at that time seems so weird to me.

It's made me really regret buying this machine.

Very noisy – Beko moderated and refused to publish my review. Here it is Bought 2 weeks ago. Loud buzzing noise when water heating up. Emailed Beko for help but told to go to the seller. The seller has contacted the rep now for 2 weeks and I have had no response. Very poor service from Beko for a brand new machine. Would not currently recommend buying this machine. Show details

Happy then disappointed – Bought about 4 weeks ago, very 1st wash was great, love the look, the features and the Bluetooth but then it began walking out of the laundry and heading down the hall to say hello, smashing about violently and loudly, had it exchanged for another and this time it near broke my finger and damaged the laundry trough and tiles, Appliances Online… Read more

take no responsibility for this and say its up to Beko, I've heard nothing from them. It a shame as it's a great machine apart from when it becomes possessed and bounces around, bare in mind this weighs 71kgs so to move like this takes some effort!!

Look Elsewhere – I purchased this machine because I recently had a Beko dishwasher installed in my apartment and was very happy with its performance. It seemed like good value and it looks good too however the negatives outweigh the positives. Overall it washes the clothes well but it’s quirks and flaws make this machine extremely frustrating to use. The first… Read more

issue is the confusing and pointless program selection. The most useful programs like ‘mixed’ can only be accessed by a glitchy Bluetooth app that very unintuitive to use. The steam cycle is pointless and the animal hair removal is just a gimmick.

The machine struggles on the final spin, even with a small load. Once it spins it will stop after 1-2 minutes leaving your clothes heavy and damp. I followed this up with Beko and they tried to blame it on a in balanced load which is not true. Most cases I have to follow each load with second spin which operates with no issues. The draining pump is also super loud. It can take up to 10 minutes for the machine to start spinning so you have to deal with this awful sound while it’s happening. This isn’t ideal if you live in a apartment because it sounds like your in the middle of a building site.

Lastly water pools in the door seal after each cycle and doesn’t drain away even when the door is left open.

I’m very lucky Appliances Online offered to take the machine back and I swapped it for a more reliable Bosch!

I absolutely LOVE it! – What a workhorse of a machine! I've had it for 6 months now and I absolutely love it! I especially love the 1400 RPM spin, clothes and towels come out almost dry! The 90°C temperature is so handy for extra bacteria killing and I use that most often for towels or really dirty bedding. It fits so much in the 10kg drum, I wash our queen size… Read more

bedding with ease as it can fit a lot in the drum!

I've been using the remote control access sporadically and I love it as well. It's so simple to connect to the machine! I love that I can select the cycle I want without having to turn the dial to select it prior, I can edit everything I can change on the digital display pad right from my phone - temperature, spin, allergy/cat hair removal or even select the clean drum mode! Once input, it tells me how long I have left until my selected cycle is finished.

It effortlessly cleans our cloth nappies and I make sure to run the clean drum cycle every 5 washes (recommended regardless to help maintain the machine) rather than once a month as we use it every day for cloth nappies, clothes and bedding.

The machine doesn't move at all once properly balanced, (a common problem regarding any machine) not even when I select 1200 or 1400 RPM spin! Our old top loader (not Beko brand) used to go for walks and the drum used to bang around in the machine casing if I selected above 1000 RPM!

A very important note is that you MUST remove the transportation bolts before you use the machine and replace them with the provided use bolts before you use the machine otherwise it will drop down into the machine & severely damage your front loader!

Nice looking but bad purchase – Bought this Beko as I wanted the 5 years warranty. Nice looking and good programs. BUT when you use the 28 Daily cycle, it did not matter if you had 2 or 10 items in it, It would bash around and move on the floor. Using the Cottons was normal and didn't have that problem. I liked that I could change to time from 210mins to 124min and get a good… Read more

wash. It was quiet and easy to use. But could not have it on when I was out. The other problem was the drum cleaning cycle and the bedding. Drum cleaning was 3 hours and after 30 mins it would finish and be full of water. The bedding cycle would sometimes work correctly and other times would finish without the draining and spinning.

Very surprised – Very happy with this machine and the phone app adds more versatility to the washers use. Some of the cycles are quite long but only if you select all of the extra features although you can always use the night mode cycle to get around the wait. Noise levels are what you would expect and set-up and use is straight forward but you will need the app and Bluetooth connection to get the most out this washer but I found it easy to use. Show details

Gets the job done – Machine provides 16 cycle programs to accommodate varying needs, such as an anti allergy program -though some cycles are excessively long and therefore impractical.
