We used to love Bella Vista in Belconnen and always have special occasions there. After our last visit, it was a joke! The food and service was great. But, the added fees at the end of a lovely dinner was a joke. We asked about splitting the bill, then we were told each transaction utilised would be charged at $ fee, can’t remember how much each transaction was but a$1 or more. Then we were charged for plates we used for cake, each person. They did not cut up the cake, I did! Then we had leftover cake and were charged for the plastic containers to put it in. Not sure for the price why they charge to eat there why they added on all of this! So we are going to the new Italian restaurant opened up in Belconnen. Who don’t charge each person who splits a bill. They only charge if you bring a cake if they cut it up and serve it, but don’t charge if we cut it up! Who has cash these days to pay their meal separately!
Always leave out paid for Uber Eats items – Tonight I ordered through Bella Vista Belconnen and for the 3rd time in a row this restaurant left out an item from my order. Part apparent tonight they were unable to locate the order despite me reading back the order number off their own uber eats receipt. As stated this is the 3rd time items have been left off my uber eats order. If this restaurant can't keep up with uber eats orders and have sit in meals then don't do uber eats simple. Or better still don't lie and try to say you can't locate the order.
