DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT – This is the biggest hunk of junk I have ever purchased. You can not cook a steak or stir fry on this cooker. You don't have an issue with anything burning because it takes a good 40 min to even come close to cooking a sausage in a frying pan I kid you not. Do not buy this it is a complete waste of money. Beyond embarrassing when you have to get a gas camp cooker out of the cupboard in your new kitchen and put it on top to cook a steak.
I want my money back. I've called the company and no one takes you seriously they just keep palming you off. Saying no one else has reported this. That's not my problem. The cooker I have can not even cook a steak, it stews bacon because there is just no conductive heat at all. When you think it's going to start cooking the element cut out then all cooking stops, then starts, then stops, then starts. It takes over 15 minutes to cook an egg you can not fry one because it doesn't get hot enough.
I even asked the company what brand of frying pan I should purchase as I've already spent $1000 on different fry pans trying to find one that would get hot enough to cook meat. Not a single one worked. The company would not recommend a frying pan. No reasonable response from this company in the few years I've been contacting them about the piece of crap. So for that, I will review this rubbish product everywhere I can find. Save yourself the headache, embarrassment and money.
Update a technician attended my house and looked at the stove. He said there was nothing wrong with the stove. He said I needed to buy new fry pans but would not advise me of any particular brand.
I borrowed my mothers large scan pan and it still does not heat hot enough to cook a steak on. I borrowed another one of her pans 25cm and tried it I could cook 1 steak at a time in that pan. Not helpful at all.
So my product review will stand.

HMMMM – Love this Belling UK oven. Ceramic top has a handy rear dual sized hotplate for whether your working with small or large saucepan. Another rear hotplate (rarely used) now goes full bore even when turned down just below 1. A built in red light comes on within the ceramic top as a safety warning that ceramic top is still hot. Instruction booklet is handy for first setting the clock though a PHD may be required for other parts of the booklet if your not already used to ovens. Oven is cleaned each month but cannot clean main oven ceiling above element, nor spray oven cleaner on the fan cover (would love to know how for both). When main oven is turned on & door opened, a good puff of steam & smoke fill our kitchen (thankful we have a rangehood plus ceiling exhaust fan). Smoke drifts from side of top oven door when main oven is in use, even with regular cleaning including the seals (photo 3). Main oven requires a full width layer of paper towel underneath the front of the side opening door as black sticky gunk from somewhere drips onto flooring along with clear water during use??. No underneath drip tray in design nor should there be for an oven but would be good for this oven. Dual grill / top conventional oven door hinges are thick & sturdy, really good quality. Fan forced & conventional main bottom oven door hinges are very thin, rust easy, break & you're waiting 4 months for ordered replacements from Glen Dimplex Australia. There is no catchment rim around edge of ceramic top, so watch carefully for spillage which I haven't had yet (I'm the only one here cooking) & we live an hour inland without coastal salty air (broken rusted hinges??? How??). Main oven is high performance, cooks very well & under time. Oven can be programmed to auto start & cook your dinner before you get home from work. Both oven doors have removable interior glass panel for easy cleaning, along with removable side support racks in ovens for your shelves, also handy for cleaning. Front panel for the dials etc isn't flush to ceramic top from a third to opposite side, never was & about 3-4mm difference side to side (photo's 4 & 5). I still love this oven, though would buy a different brand as replacement.
