Bought second hand but brand new in box. Glad I didn't pay full price. The R&D team for Belling should be sacked. The good: Hotplates heat quickly and evenly. Oven gets good crispness. Simple design and aesthetically pleasing. Easy to install. I bake daily and so far it has kept up with my requirements, though it's only been six months. Self cleaning function on oven seems to work.

The bad: the power button being on the top of the hotplates is a MONUMENTALLY bad design decision. My guess is whoever designed it hasn't used an oven in their life, and they certainly didn't test it prior to release. Every time something touches it (which is extremely often being a stove top) it turns the hotplates off. More than once a splash of hot water landing on the power button has turned off the stove which is ridiculous and so poorly thought out. I also work fast and the lag between turning the power button on and turning the heat dials up to my desired setting, means I often turn it up before the power is actually on meaning I have to turn it down and start again. And then there's the oven... I'm currently being potatoes as I write this and watching water pool on the floor below it. I need a sump tray for anything slow cooked or with any moisture. I don't know why no other oven I've ever owned has done this, but this one does... I would be crying if I paid full price for this. It's our second, but last Belling ever. Won't be purchasing from them again.

Purchased in for $800.

Good morning Nate Thank you for reaching out regarding your Belling oven. Your feedback is always valuable and we will pass this onto our research and development teams. When cooking with vegetables and meats they can produce excessive moisture due to their water content. We will reach out to you to get some further information. Thanking you Belling

Looks good but poor quality overall – I brought this stove thinking I was paying for a high end product. Initially it worked well with only minor issues.. one knob kept falling off and I had to glue it back on, some corrosion appearing around oven door handles. However after approx 3.5 years of little use the oven has stopped heating and trips the power when turned on. Belling has refused to fix it as it’s out of warranty. Their customer service was very slow and it took approx 7 weeks for them to inform me that they wouldn’t be helping.

I don’t think that the use I got out of the oven was worth the $1950 that I paid when I could have brought a similar stove for half the cost.

Overall I’m disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it.

Purchased in at Harvey Norman Retail Stores - Appliances for $1,950.

Very happy with this choice 540 model – My model is the smaller 540, cream color. Gas stove, electric ovens/grill. For a small size it can handle alot, and I love to cook. I just dont have space. The griller takes a few minutes to warm up, but once it does watch out as it cooks quickly from there. The grill is also a convection oven which I love to use for a tray of chips or a single tray of anything. Heats up quickly and cooks nicely.. The bottom oven is Fan forced and can handle 3 trays of cookies, cakes etc. I would suggest turning the temp down 10 degrees than what you might expect to need. To use the bottom ff oven you do need to get down onto your knees as it opens from the side. My main complaint is with the stove. It takes a full 20 seconds of holding the gas knob in or the flame goes out. Plenty of space on the stove with a handy pull down lid. Stove is easy to clean. Cost me $1850 from Harvey Norman. Overall happy with my Bellings. I love the Olde World charm look.
