busy and when my Wife pushed for a date to veiw the property the Agent said, that they were just too busy and "if only I had more hours in the day"....what kind of Agent says that?

Three weeks later I got a call to say they finally had the keys. Young Emma was excellent and met with me on site within 2 hours.

When we entered the property we were met by a gruff older man who asked "who are you!". My wife thought he must have been the vendor. She asked ..."who are you, are.you the owner of the property?"..to which he replied...I own the Real Estate Agency who listed the house.....no welcome, no nice to see you, no let us know if you have any questions. Just a condescending short attitude.

If I knew who owned the house I would tell them they have listed with the wrong company.

great great people to go through – the best real estate ive ever been through. i even get my friends to rent through them now. the ladys all listen and get everything fix when it needs to be done.

Best to stay clear and use another agent – Wouldn't use this estate agent again. Poor communication and a little lack of knowledge I believe. Will try to hold your bond for made up excuses. Best to use a more established estate agent and stay away from this one to rent. Staff do not share info so calling the office is a waste of time when a lot are clueless about what the other agent is doing.

Terrible Experience – A sales person that LIES is a huge problem. Never listened from start. Had a price and she under minded me by 30k to get a 'sale'... Hopeless poor company. Shouldn't be allowed to rent properties – Unfortunately Bernats Lewis took over the property I was renting through Ray White. Ray White were great, I never had any problems with them. inspected me with NO notice. I was within my rights to refuse them entry but just asked that they come back in half an hour to save any drama. I had no working oven at the property and despite numerous requests for it to be fixed, both at the inspections and over the phone nothing was ever done about it. Upon giving my notice to leave they claimed they had no knowledge of the broken oven, even though I'd requested for it to be fixed on multiple occasions and had even given them the model and serial number (at their request) several times. According to them it's apparently OK for someone to not have a working oven for 3 years. The nightmare truly began went I moved out. I left the property in better condition than when I moved in, Lawns and garden were well maintained, I planted plants, put in a birdbath. I cleaned things in the house that weren't clean when I moved in and they still tried to hold me accountable for things that were in bad condition and broken when I moved in. Getting my bond back was a nightmare even though I had done nothing wrong. I have since found out they have a very bad reputation and I warn people to not have any dealings with them.

prepare another lease to renew . When we moved out we had nothing but drama , we were accused of breaking things that we didn't and much more . I would never ever rent or buy through Bernats and Lewis and I tell everyone I know and all my clients not to go through them . Word of mouth is very important to a company and this company should be ashamed of themselves . The way they run their business is hideous .

Bad bad bad – Bad, no communication! Your property manager, shame on you! Couldn't be bothered returning phone calls even came in there twice ask about the rental, rang up property, gone. Couldn't even be bothered to call people waited over a week for an answer. I blame your property manager. Will never recommend your real estate to anyone. Absolutely hopeless!

Useless – We set up a walk through only to find out the house had already been let. Wasted our time because they couldn't be bothered giving us a phone call. Wouldn't use this agency even if I was being paid to.

Wonderful – Nothing but helpful, available any time and more than willing to work around any difficulties. (As a buyer) they have handled any and all issues with my purchase of a property professionally and promptly.

Bad communication, unfriendly – I have been rending with bernats lewis for about 2 years, the 1st agent's I had were really good but then they changed people 2 times without my knowledge they the person I had was really rude would make inspections times then cancel without me knowing. Very unhappy with how things have turned out with them.

Poor communication and misinformation killed the contract – While trying to buy a property through this agent we were consistently misled with information. We had to constantly chase the agent for answers to our questions and some information provided to us was not logical and when challenged turned out to be false. corrected under an insurance claim. A claim we were not told about prior to signing the contract. After extending the agreement date to sign off the building and pest inspection twice (at our expense) in an effort to give the seller a chance to address the issue, the problem was not corrected. In the end we were finally told that the defect was never going to be fixed under an insurance claim.

We suggested a small discount in the contract price to fix the problem ourselves after settlement. Despite being encouraged by the agent to pay our solicitor to lodge the offer in writing, it was declined within an hour so what was the point.

Attempts to speak with the principle of the agency were unsuccessful.

We ended up cancelling the contract.

Don't accept what information they provide. Do your homework. If it doesn't sound right, it probably isn't.

Poor communication, failure to show common sense, provision of misleading information to buyers
