What I liked was that Agent Select was able to provide as much or as little help as I needed. Some of you might have some experience in this field (I didn't), well then just use them like a database to choose the right agent. Other people like me can use them like you use a good friend's "know-how", as someone that knows "what's what" when it comes to real estate.

Agent Select can provide just data and advice if that's all you want or they can also provide support throughout the process if that's what you need. I can recommend them and will do so to my friends.

Unfortunately no assistance – No assistance was provided by Agent select with no communication occurring with them to say what they could provide . The official bank valuation being $1750,000.00 a month ago. A buyer who found out about the property through the next door neighbour offered $1765,000.00 with the offer needing to be accepted in a short time frame . [Name Removed] kept on saying he wouldn't be surprised " if it reached $1800,000 or $2 mil " he believed that he had a lot of interested buyers.

On the day of the auction he said buyers had stopped bidding but he thought they may go higher if I dropped the reserve to $1710,000 only for the property not to attract any other bids beyond this amount effectively with me losing $65,000 . Whilst I didn't expect him to know the thoughts of the buyers on this occasion his reading of the bidders was "off " . Or alternatively in hindsight his projected sale cost should not have started so low with him providing buyers with the expectation the property would sell at a lower level than its value expected especially in the current market. .

Cleary [Name removed] wanted to get the property sold to get his commission rather than advise me to let it pass in . I am disappointed in the result and in trusting him. On different occasions he would also point out the property's perceived faults rather then its highlights. Villas in the area have sold at a higher price.

service not provided – this came through on my email (not requested - spam) for a valuation on our property, as I have a NZ mobile the process would not give me the answer due to spam protection. for you to put spam guards in that do NOT REQUIRE a mobile number. I suspect this is just to get a contact phone number out of people.

What do they do for their money? – What value do they add for the $4,000 fee they will be paid from the agent they recommended? support me through the selling process. There may be a need for a Vendor Advocate service in the Real Estate industry. But, having bought and sold properties before I'm happy to deal directly with the real estate agent.

Estate agent would be most appropriate to use in the CBD (money for value), to conveyancing and support to have the premises in an appropriate condition to sell quickly and for a good market value price.
