Bibo Water Australia

Don't buy this crap – Don't buy this crap. Customer service is pathetic. The main elements of the unit are not even covered in warranty. The filters are cheap and fall apart. They jacked up the replacement filter prices within a year of my purchase by 50%claiming cost of materials and transport. No other replacement filters for other brands of water filter units have increased at this rate. Also beware that they delete negative reviews from their website and only keep the 5 star reviews. Mine was deleted.
The unit is definitely not worth it any more. It's far more economical to get a whole house filter system and a plumbed fridge. And a kettle for the hot water instead of instant hot water is really not that big a trade-off. On top of that, given that you need to change filters and descale every 6 months and waste litres of water to wash out the descaler from the unit, it's only good for super rich households. Initially bought it seeing the sale and a reasonable price for the replacement filters, but I've observed that the RRP is just a gimmick because the unit has been on the current "sale" price for over 2 years now. They can just increase the price of the filters as they wish because they know customers have no other option. A jump from $198 to $295!!! That's $80 more even with the subscription discount. Big regret purchasing this product.
Really worst experience in my life – ***NOT A PROPER PRODUCT & CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE *** ** SUGGEST NOT TO BUY** II am writing to express my serious dissatisfaction with the BIBO water product that I purchased and installed less than three months ago. The entire experience has been disappointing, starting from the delivery process, which took over three weeks despite being labelled as “Express post.” From China.
The main issue lies with the product itself. It developed a leak at the bottom, rendering it unusable. When I contacted your customer services team to report the problem, I expected a prompt and helpful response. However, the interaction left much to be desired.
“During the initial phone call, a technician visited my place and identified the necessary parts for repair. He mentioned that he currently had only two sets of parts available for repairs that week. Subsequently, the technician promptly contacted the office to request additional parts. After concluding the call, he assured me that the extra parts would be sent via express post and that he would return within a few days.”
After a week of waiting, I contacted the repairer to check on the status of the parts. Unfortunately, I was informed that the necessary components had not been received. I called customer service again. The representative, [Name Removed], assured me that the parts had been sent but warned of potential delays due to postal services.
I emphasized that it had already been a week and expressed concern about the possibility of the parts being lost. [Name Removed]’s response was dismissive, claiming that the parts were sent by other departments.
Furthermore, I want to explained that this matter was urgent because one of my family members relies on warm and filtered water due to health issues. Unfortunately, [Name Removed] ignored my plea for a swift resolution. [Name Removed]’s dismissive attitude and lack of empathy were disheartening.
After calling [Name Removed], the technician called me back and raised his voice, questioning why I was persistently complaining. He explicitly stated that I should refrain from calling and abruptly ended the conversation. To add insult to injury, he sent me a text warning that my machine wouldn’t be fixed until I calmed down. Despite my polite demeanour and genuine concern, they perceived my inquiries as yelling. The overall experience has been highly unprofessional and distressing.
