Unhappy – I’m still waiting for the phone I ordered from crazy sales on 13/8/2024!!
DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE – DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. The redial buttons don't work. I have emailed the company - cs-support@seniorsphone.com.au several times and they haven't responded. Their phone number is disconnected. What a waste of money!
Poor quality handset – I foolishly relied on the reviews presented on the website of the seller Big Buttons, which were all very positive and appeared to be just what I needed. It arrived poorly packaged (knocked about) and the quality of the phone was poor also. The menu is difficult to follow and counter-intuitive. The instructions supplied were in a super tiny… Read more
font, near unreadable. It was $199, reduced from $299. I think $80 would be a fairer price for the quality. I should have done my research before buying this.
A Problem and no support – I purchased this phone for an elderly friend. worked fine for 6 months. Then it would stop working. The only way to get back with a dial tone or for it to receive calls was to disconnect from the power point, disconnect from the battery wait five minutes then connect it up again. Back on the air. Beyond the capabilities of my friend. Sent an email… Read more
asking for advice to support in March 23. In the last three months the phone has stopped working five times and each time I have to arrange for someone to attend as a matter of urgency to get the phone working. Disappointingly there has been no response from support. Now looking to purchase some other model desk top mobile phone
Poor quality – Phone is very user friendly for my mum aged 95. But, in the past twelve months we have had to change the sim card twice and now the phone has died as well. It lasted twelve months and 1 day. Show details

This is a terrible phone, please do not purchase – If you're thinking about purchasing this phone for an elderly relative, please reconsider. The quality of this phone is terrible. There are numerous spelling mistakes in the menu and even on the contacts button on the front panel (misspelt as cantacts, even in the display picture they use!). Using this phone is not intuitive or easy. Once you're… Read more
finished entering in the number you want to call, you must hit a small button labelled "redial / send" in order for it to make the call, it does not call automatically. If you want to search contacts you need to hit the up arrow twice when landing on the contacts page to go to the search box. The search also doesn't work properly, I tried searching for several contacts which were in the phone but did not come up when entering their name (or even the first two letters of their name).
The instruction manual is not well written. It reads as if it has been translated through Google translate.
Overall, the quality of this product for the $200 price tag is laughable. If you're not satisfied with this product, I encourage you to get a refund. The ACCC's advice on consumer protection may come in handy: https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/consumer-protection/where-to-go-for-consumer-help
A bit disappointing – I was going to give 2 stars but gave 3 as the jury is still out on this product. After extensive web searching it seems plenty of rubbish (mostly made in China) being pushed out to the Australian market through dubious online distributors with next to no product support. The phone was purchased as a replacement for fixed copper wire line soon to… Read more
be obsolete, and for something more reliable than NBN for aged citizen. One of the first things I noticed is the Contacts button says "Cantacts". This made me wonder about the quality control of the product. The phone is advertised as targeting seniors and was the reason I bought it for 90 year old family member. Bare in mind most 90 year olds are not too tech savy. The dual sim option only complicates and confuses the menus and is pointless really. The hand piece volume is not that loud and not the best for hearing impaired. The aged user of this phone uses the speaker phone option as it is louder. The ringing volume could be a bit louder but ok for small apartment. The annoying tune it plays when powering on is actually louder. The battery quality seems a bit of a last minute thrown together thing, although on testing it gets at least 8 hours standby. Time will tell how long the battery quality lasts. The instructions that come with it are in broken English (poorly translated) and not intuitive, and in some parts nonsensical. The contacts (cantacts) address book is difficult for a senior person to navigate. So far its filling the purpose it was purchased for but I'm on the lookout for a better product. This one could be improved if the manufacturer was interested. If this product cost around $70 - $100 it would be more inline with the quality.
Dodgy product and questionable warranty and customer service obligations - stay away! – Similar problem to another reviewer - very disappointing purchase. Bought the "Big Buttons Fixed Wireless 4G LTE /3G Desk Phone for Elderly Home Office" - it basically replaces the old copper landline type phone with a similar looking and working phone but it works with a sim card. Great idea. Unfortunately the power adaptor failed after a month… Read more
(interestingly not covered by warranty) and the blurb on the website about being super easy for hard of hearing seniors failed big time. Chances of refund probably nil. Customer 'service'? - hmmm. At over $200, it's not a cheap lemon. I challenge seniorsphones.com.au to verify the amazing 100% 5 star reviews on their website. Buyer beware. Like Tony, onto consumer affairs now.
