Great phone for the elderly

Great phone, for blind and deaf 99 year old mother, in nursing home with no landline available, and no way could she use a mobile phone. This phone is similar to the landline she had at home.
She hasn't actually used the phone herself, but I have set it up, with raised lumps on the three direct memory buttons to feel, so she can tell which button to push. Only negative comment would be that I think a white phone might be better for someone who is vision impaired, as the black phone is just all black and very hard for her to tell where the hand piece is to put back down (she has talked on it, but not rung up herself). Otherwise a great phone of someone with poor cognitive function. Show details

Excellent phone for elderly

It has a strong antenna and seems to pick up weak mobile signals well. Clear speakers and sensitive microphones make this a superior product. My aged relative says its been a godsend and now con easily communicate with friends and family. Show details

Great Phone. Excellent service

My Mother is 97 vision and hearing impaired. She manages this phone very well.
We have always gone to Olitech for her needs. The staff are really helpful, caring and patient, it's refreshing to speak with someone straight away.

My Mum is now - hooray! - connected

After a lot of running around and a succession of hopelessly sub-optimal phones, I have just set up THE one that does the trick. Mum is nearly 97; eyesight and hearing somewhat impaired, as are her fine-motor skills. The Olitech Homephone has her back in harness again. And the fast and effective help I received for Jacinda was icing on the cake. Well done, folks! I'm also keen to go to Telstra; my experience with Optus cannot be described politely. Show details

Reliable phone excellent service

This is to replace the 3G version we purchased for my 91 Year old mother in an old aged home a couple of years ago. I purchased a Vodaphone chip and top it up annually. Easy! She has no idea it is actually a mobile phone as she has always been a Luddite with technology!
Can I add that the phone arrived in about 4 days - excellent service! Show details

Great phone and works as described

Great solution for a home with no land line and internet requirements and portability. Prompt delivery. The one device makes it so much easer to set up for the elderly. Show details

This is excellent product and good service

It does everything it should ...in fact it may do more than it needs to.

My only criticism is the layout of some of the keys eg: green phone icon initiates a call while red phone icon, on the same row doesn't hang up ...it turns the phone off. Show details

Olitech EasyTel 4G Homephone

My wife, with Parkinsons and confined to bed, used 3G model for years.
With 3G phase out, replaced with current 4G model.
New phone set up at head office. very pleasant. Nothing too much trouble, and company enthusiastic about the product and customer, no emphasis on profit.
Same ease of use (perhaps even better) and reliability.
Happy customer for ever. Show details

Amazing service and easy set up

My mother had a 3G Olitech phone which had worked well for many years but started having connection issues. Not liking mobile phones, she prefers the traditional landline style handset and so we upgraded to a 4G handset. The Olitech team went out of their way to ensure an easy set up, arranging a convenient time out of ordinary hours. It was done in a few minutes and my mother could keep her number the same. Very grateful for such good service and the new phone works perfectly.

Great option to a mobile phone

Purchased recently for my 91 yo mother who was having trouble using her mobile phone successfully, this has been a fabulous alternative. The phone arrived very promptly, it was very easy to install (I also purchased the SIM to accompany the product), it has straightforward and clear instructions for usage, and has a lot of features that are helpful for the elderly / hard of hearing. On top of that, the service has been exceptional. I have needed to make a few calls to clarify information, and the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. Incredibly pleased with this purchase, and would recommend the company very highly. Show details

Perfect for retirement village

As for other reviewers, this was for my 96 year old mum in aged care. She is hard of hearing yet uses this phone perfectly. Suppor from Olitech was good when I stuffed up the SIM install. Would definately recommend. Show details

REVIEW EasyTel 4G for seniors

My 91 year old mother is in an Age Care Home 250 km away.
I would have to shout in every telephone conversation.
And still it was difficult for her to hear me.
With the EasyTel 4G for seniors
I can speak to her in my normal voice.
No longer will I be required to yell. Show details

Easy Tel 4G

My mum is 93 and now resides in an aged care facility. Previously she had a "normal" house phone and an Olitech flip phone as a back up. As mum's vision deteriorated (legally blind) she found using the flip phone harder and harder. I searched for months trying to find a new phone. The Olitech Easy Tel 4G was ideal for mum. Big buttons, 12 programable (speed dial) numbers and looks and feels like an old style phone. Mum finds it so easy to use. Show details
