Big Earles BBQ Port Melbourne

Lovely place, nice atmosphere with live music all day Saturday, loved the open fires . Didn't like the bench style seating though with seats attached to the bench, had a sore back after sitting there. Some free standing chairs with backs on them would solve the problem. Food was good, pork was lovely as was the ribs. The brisket was very dry though although tender but no flavor need a good bbq sauce on it . Was supplied with tomato sauce and a spicy sauce but should really have had a bourbon bbq sauce that would have solved the dry brisket , would definitely not order that again. The slaw needs dressing was pretty tasteless just a little vinaigrette or coleslaw dressing would have lifted it. Chips were crunchy and tasty. Overall good food just a few things need fixing up. Prices are good compared to others probably because it's an outdoor venue. Fix the fre issues and it would be 5 star

Big Earls, best place in Melbourne for staff lunch – 2025 staff annual break up lunch. When I asked my staff where would the like to go for break up lunch, it was unanimous, Big Earls. We arrived at 1130 hrs before the big queue starts at 1200 hrs. We had a great time, great food, great atmosphere. Just go and experience this BBQ food it is superb, just as for extra pickles. We will eat at Big Earls early in the new year, it seems to be our new go to spontaneous lunch of choice, faultless food.
