Just amazed that's all – Very very quick service, i was calling around people and not even getting call back, but birchtech as soon as i called i got someone out same day!! Not only that they're switched on and know everything to do with internet, the tech who did my work is actually a network engineer and can simplify the issue into an something we can understand then fix it from the roots. Anyway you try yourself guys

Get a written quote – Be sure to ask for a written quote before engaging in works. What was supposed to be a couple of hundred dollars for an additional cable turned into a surprise bill of $1650. When bill was questioned no additional information was provided.

I wasn't in a hurry – ...therefore not too fussed about several delays in responding to my inquiries a few weeks earlier. I'd almost decided to try elsewhere when Waleed rang to check if someone would be at home later that afternoon. He then sent out a 2-man crew who completed the job in just under 1 hour, for $300 (labour only). Since then I've added a wi-fi extender and we now have shared NBN in the granny flat. All good so far. (I learned afterwards there's a $100 surcharge if someone needs to go into the sub-floor crawl space.)
