If I could give less than a 1 star I would. I had [Name Removed] come to take off one tv from a mount and re-mount a larger tv to the main bedroom. Upon him mounting the tv , it has been damaged (the tv was checked by my partner and I prior to moving the tv). OF INSTILLATION. I have since contacted customer service where they stated it wasn’t good enough and send their regards, and put me in contact with his “manager” [Name Removed]. [Name Removed] got a statement from both [Name Removed] and myself then proceeded to tell me it’s his word against mine but [Name Removed] was negligent in the fact he was supposed to take before and after photos of the job and turn the tv on and ensure everything was working PRIOR to the job being complete which [Name Removed] didn’t do. I’ve since contacted customer service AGAIN where they stated Jim himself (owner of company) would contact me - which never happened , instead I got another email from [Name Removed] after I haven’t heard from him stating the contractor doesn’t want to pay for the insurance access so there’s nothing he can do ! Then I tried contacted customer service AGAIN and I was put on hold then HUNG UP ON, when I called back , another lady answered and told me the girl I was talking too would contact me back asap , haven’t heard back. Then I’ve contacted [Name Removed] AGAIN and [Name Removed] stated [Name Removed] is only going to refund my instillation cost WHICH STILL HASNT HAPPENED. WORST customer service I have EVER experienced . One of my jobs I am a manager and never would I treat PAYING customers this way. For a big company like Jim’s I’m absolutely shocked. I was quoted more than other places I contacted as well and thought I would go for a bigger name company expecting better service . They still refuse liability . I now have a lawyer involved so I hope their happy not only will they be paying the access they will also be paying for a lawyer and fee’s. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I had Moustafa complete the job - responsive, knowledgeable, gave the best quote and did a fantastic job. Very happy. Tv hangs flush and uses a bracket which other installers didn’t want to deal with (even though it is the specific purpose bracket for this tv).

Tv stopped receiving signal so I contacted Jim’s Antennas. A technician was at my house the next morning and began work. He found the problem immediately and resolved it within the hour. I rang Jim's TV mounting service and said that I wanted a tilted tv installation on the wall. Omar responded promptly to make an appointment. achievable. He only had one short length (about 60cm) of ducting to hide the cable and this was not long enough and he suggested I buy one from Bunnings. He should have checked with me on the phone about what type of mount I wanted; he should have carried a stock of ducting which would hide the cables. JR Turk stocks a cable which would be suitable but it comes in a 4m length which is too long for my small job. The installer should be carrying a product like this and cut lengths as required when he does a job. I am now stuck with a tv which doesn't tilt and with 5 black wires dangling down the wall. So be warned - make sure when you make an appointment with this provider that he will bring the proper materials to do your job. The price is also not $300 as stated on the website, but $330 because GST was not included (and I think it is a law that the price quoted should include GST).

it. He did tell me he worked alone and that someone needed to be around to help him lift the tv’s which should have been a red flag already but foolishly I persisted eager to get the job done.
On the day he arrived about 40minutes late and took a look at the set up. He started opening the boxes and when he saw the soundbar set up he said he needed an electrician to install power points since he did not do electrical. I therefore asked him to start on the simpler mounting job and went to arrange an electrician.
Before I knew it he had started mounting the tv and cutting holes in the wall with a Stanley knife before realising that he could not pass cables through it due to a timber beam being in the way. The screws for the mount was asymmetrical and fixed in a weak fashion. At this stage the electrician on the phone informed me that it was best to cut losses and get him to stop what he was doing. [Name Removed] patched the holes with some covers and look relieved when I told him to stop. He charged me for the tv mount ($330 dollars when they retail for $40 dollars online) and promptly left.
Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had with any business and I will be reporting this to the fair trading in my state due to the sub optimal and predatory nature of this business interaction. You might as well use Airtasker or any other subcontracting business for this. Awful awful experience
Jim’s advertising they have an antenna service in Darwin however you submit an enquiry and no one replies and are greeted with an automated message. When you call the national number you’re advised there is no service available as the only franchisee declined to job as he is “not available” Why advertise your services if you’re “not available “? Poor service

the installer, ‘xxx would call me’ she never did. A non tech spokeswoman did. We made a date, the installer, ‘X', and two men turned, up and installed the dish. They used the cable that had previously served the antenna. The two men ‘tuned’ the system, but at one stage I had to read the manual to them. They tried to charge me $800, but long story short, they compromised to $400, closer to the quoted 'few hundred dollars'. Six weeks later the set top box wouldn’t record any TV. I was in contact with the service manager at NAS who provided excellent support who after many calls, concluded, 'There is something wrong with the dish and hardware.’ I called another installer, TV Magic, who quoted $220. Two men arrived, checked the dish and equipment and after inspecting the cable in the roof cavity, found that ‘X' had used the old cable joiners which were three-way. Totally wrong for this job. He put in a single joiner, the signal went from 62% to 100% and it is fixed. He charged me the quoted $220. The photo shows a single joiner: a three way would have two outlets on the facing end.
Follow-up · I’m in error here. This review is for Mr TV and Antennas. NOT Jim’s Antennas. TV Magic were communicative, stuck with their quote and were efficient. Mr TV did not give an accurate quote. ' A few hundred dollars,' is not a quote. I supplied the equipment, so an explanation was unnecessary. The communication from them was not good.

watch channel 7 to name the least! I have tried reporting to the area manager and she only replied via email after many attempts, and was extremely biased to my complaints. Being a Franchise, the Company itself don't take any responsibility and its very clear that $ales is her only priority! You are better off with an independent business where they rely on value & good rapport! I will document everything on here, as I still have not had any proper resolution or compensation! Asked for model details of antenna on my invoice, franchiser refused, who knows what I was paying $800 for!!! $800 for 1 antenna & a "booster" (not needed) for only one port! No wiring of new ports even!!! What an absolute rip off for 45min job that still cost me more to fix!!!

Do not waste your time with these people. I rang them 4 to 5 times and no franchisee cares to respond. They themselves suggest try other companies which indicates that they really have no franchise in Townsville.

Daniel Ward from Jim’s Atennas rang within the hour as promised to set a time and date to investigate our problem. He arrived the next day at the time he said he would. He identified the problem, gave a quote to fix it which we accepted then fixed the problem on the spot. So from ringing Jim’s Atennas to the problem fixed was less than 24 hours.

took a couple of weeks from when I accepted their quote until instillation. All emails were answered quickly and they were not pushy. Very happy with service and would recommend them.
Follow-up · I have not had any issues with the app and the camera's views are excellent and cover a lot of area. There is no wire visibility and the wiring is very neat and compact. Still very happy with the team and their work.
