the response from Jims Group when I made a complaint directly to Jim's Group ( I actually addressed the email to Jim Penman (Owner of Jim's Group) This is the response: Jim’s Group (owner) Hi RK, did you call 131 546 and lodge a complaint? If so, the area manager should have contacted you to help rectify the situation. Jim personally gets involved on all escalated complaints as well.

Have contacted 131546 with "customer service" stating that this is a franchisee issue and Jim's Group does not get involved in pricing and fees ! Have also sent an email to Jim Penman 3 weeks ago - did get an acknowledgement with no further follow up - all consistent with the fact that Jim’s Group does not take accountability for their franchisee and their franchisee action in ripping customers off. No "Area manager" has contacted us despite having our email & phone number

Only got a response on this site: Hi Ray. Apologies you have misunderstood our franchisee, but at no point was an amplifier and antenna installation quoted at $500 for both. The full price was $695 - of which he was only able to complete the amplifier on the day due to the roof being wet (it doesn't have to be raining for a roof to have moisture and be deemed to slippery for working safely). I will chase up a receipt for you for the $195 already paid for the amplifier. Jim's Antennas Jim's Antennas 4d Hi Ray. Jan knows a great deal and takes the time to explain what he intends to do and the cost, with a seniors discount. My very old 1999 TV antenna was replaced with a brand new one as well as the cables etc inside. All done professionally, promptly and with minimal fuss. paying the bill it suddenly came to $1133?reckons he needed a cable & filter splitter..ok paid this the tv worked for 24 hours then didn’t work at all no connection. I informed my 6ft2 partner & electrician what happened so he rang for [Name Removed] to fix said he will be checking his work too. He told my partner he be there at 2 came at 12, I now know why his butt was up the ladder in no time moving tiles etc to add the cable & splitter which wasn’t there in the first place because he charged me but failed to install it!! Didn’t move tiles the first time we noticed glad my partner threatened to check soon fixed the issue dodgy rude arrogant and I doubt they are qualified either never again hopefully they do this to a bikie see how they come off..

was fitted back in 2013. He came out today (6/11/25) and has just completed an test and upgrade to our TV reception at Minto. In the past 5 years we have had some 2 story homes built across the road, which is blocking out TV reception caused to much static interference on normal channels, 7, 9, 10 & 12.

Jamie came out got on the roof with his meters, tested the signals at out antenna and TV and found them wanting.. He hooked up a Hills UHF Antenna and tested for best signal and roof location. Then he did the same with a VHF Antenna and found that was the solution. So he installed a new antenna mount in the best roof location and hooked up a new Hills Black Arrow VHF Antenna. Then tested both TV outlets in the house and showed me the meter results.

single storey part of my home. The technician arrived at my premises just after 08h15 and left before 10h00. After querying why is was so expensive, Andrew stated that it's because AJ, the technician, spent additional time helping me with sorting out the existing equipment and router. Andrew's way of sugar coating the reasons why I [Content Removed]. He did very little to help me with the setup, as he admitted that he had very little knowledge in this field. In hindsight, I should've gone with the Starlink's installer option and I should've checked the reviews before I committed to using these guys. The only thing in Andrew's favour, is that he responded very quickly to my text message when I asked for a quote and the installation was done the next day. This probably should have been the warning sign, as they obviously go for the [Content Removed]. On a positive note, my bad experience has saved my brother in law and a good friend of mine from using AHS. They too have gone the Starlink route.
