imagine the state of my furniture after about 10 months. Wasn’t the prettiest sight to say the least. From the second i started using it, my little green absolutely blew me away. It cleaned both chair and lounge extremely well. You wouldn’t even know it had ever become that dirty. I had attempted to clean my chair earlier with vanish and the stain was gone but it left me with a water ring/stain and even though the stains were old and caked in, they all disappeared!

Just to make sure it could deal with really really hard stains I decided to clean my mattress (again I have 3 dogs, a sweaty husband and a baby) over the 5 years we’ve owned the mattress I’ve tried a few ways to clean it and never succeeded. Until today. It’s super clean and smells divine! Honestly, best money ever spent!!!

Yes, the hose could’ve been longer but I think you’d lose suction power. Yes, the reservoir could be bigger, but this is made for spot cleaning, not entire mattresses cleaning. Yes, it could’ve been less noisy but hey, at least you know it’s on! And let’s be honest, nobody is perfect so why do you expect little green to be?

I give my little man a 10 out of 5!

everything professionally cleaned every 12 months but I honestly think this machine will extend this time to at least every 2 years if not longer. Any unused cleaning mix can be left in the tank and stored in the machine ready to be whipped out when needed. Dirty tank is easy to detach and rinse out. The storage design for the cord and hose are good and allows everything to be stored away easily and compactly. The only downside is that the hose sometimes feels slightly too short and means you have to move the machine around a bit to get it to reach, but it's really not an issue as moving it isn't difficult. This machine is some of the best money I've spent on a home appliance and I would absolutely recommend it.

If you have pets, children or are a bit clumsy like me - GET IT! – I checked the reviews for the Little Green online, including here, before I went out to purchase it and OMG! I'm so glad I got it! cleaned areas in my bedroom, hallway, and have nearly cleaned a whole area rug in my dining room - and that little tank still has solution in it!

Granted, this is *not* an actual carpet "cleaner" -- you aren't meant to be cleaning entire rooms or massive areas with this machine -- but I tell you what, for people who have pets (like me) who make a boo-boo here and there, or if you're a red wine drinker (like me) who makes a boo-boo here and there (LOL!) -- this machine is IDEAL!

It's light weight, compact and does the job! You do have to put a little bit of 'elbow grease' into the spot you're trying to erase...but not a whole heck of a lot. And if you didn't have this machine, you'd be putting in serious 'elbow grease' to get your stain out anyway.

Long and the short of it -- for small areas and spot cleaning, it's amazing! And its eco-friendly credentials just add to its awesomeness! Go Little Green :-D

Great product – I bought this a few years ago to clean up a nasty stain as a result of a bad fall from an elderly family member . We didn't get to the stain for a few days and I wondered how I would fix this up. Bought the little green and it worked a treat. Did take a few goes as blood is hard to get out. Took it to my local Godfreys (naturally it had run out Warranty), where I was told I could have it fixed for $99 flat fee PLUS $100 on the actual fixing of the product.

I asked why? It had, had only the one use, the reason's I got went from rude to ridiculous, the rude question I felt was, had I washed it thoroughly? The ridiculous was I needed to use it more often.

Shouldn't a product only be needed to be used when there's a problem that need's in this case cleaning.

poor customer service – I bought it at Godfreys; Midland , WA and it was leaking. Shop assistant asked me to go to company to fix it because company has no repair service with us. phone call to company was more useless. What a great machine!! – Brought this and lived up to the great reviews! Have cleaned a rug and bedroom carpet and what a difference it made! Got really good suction, even removed pet stains. I have used this on the carpet but it’s rather hard To use unless a small area because it’s designed to spot clean or upholstery clean. I will have to look for a good carpet cleaner now.

Sucks up wet spills. Terrific machine – Great for wet spills as it washes and rinses. I use on carpet for mainly dog urine but can be used for solid spills too; think 'mud like' consistency without putting you off your lunch. staining fluids like bile etc you may need special shampoo so don't rely just on vacuuming. When finished give the Bissell a clean by vacuuming clean water from a bucket to flush out hose and brush then store away. Great for spot stains. For steam clean or hot clean this machine is not recommended. You can fill with hot water but it cools fairly quickly and is not intended to steam clean, just for suctioning and spraying wet small areas.

I am hooked! – Bought this yesterday to clean our large light grey lounge set. It was more of a hopeful attempt to bring them back to life. The results after 15 minutes? WOW! The satisfaction of seeing that murky water being extracted from the couches was almost therapeutic. The lounge has now been restored to it's former glory. life's horrifyingly unsanitary problems, plus those bonus messes that only come with the most special children, such as entire bottles of food dye or bubble mix in your carpet.

This is the one product I wish I could take back in time to when I first had children. It took me too many years to find.

Great product! Well worth the money – Awesome product! Our cat was sick from medication and vomiting daily for 2 weeks, this machine saved our carpet. Also great for that spilt glass of wine or juice. Just make sure to remove stain as quickly as possible to ensure stain is removed completely. Very happy with the purchase. Very Surprised at the results – I used this little unit to spot clean pet stains on my carpets. It was very easy to use and I was surprised at how good the results were with very little effort The only real issue was cleaning the machine later - the dirty container was not easy to clean - how ironic! much grime from within any type of fabric covered surfaces and furniture. I even did some floor mats! Ideal for running over the top of your mattress just to give it a little rejuvenation and sanitation clean. I bought the Bissell Pet Stain and Odor Formula (99K5E) which works wonderfully to clean and sanitize pet mats and for a quick once over on furniture if you share with your little furbabies.

It's just perfect for sanitising and cleaning. I highly recommend it.

already used it at least 5 times with great success! It would be possible to use it on a large area but slow and tedious due to frequent refills being required but it’s perfect for spot cleaning carpets and lounges.

Wow - what a machine – Like the other reviewers I should have bought one of these years ago. Just read the previous reviews and rushed out to buy one. Cleaned our couch's in a matter of minutes, great results. The water tank is a bit on the small side (estimate 3 square metres per tank), but I prefer the compact lines of this model and the easy storage. Easy, logical and simple to use. Brilliant – This is an awesome little cleaning unit so handy for small spills, pet stains and general dirt. Far superior to the Spot Clean unit, which was disappointing in comparison to this older spot cleaner. Although it has to be refilled quite frequently, it is worth it for the great results. It may be small but it packs a punch – Excellent carpet cleaner. Not really suitable for cleaning large areas of carpet but perfect for spot cleaning and cleaning small areas of carpet. It can be whipped out of the cupboard every time there is a spillage. It is light, efficient, portable and it stores in a relatively small space. Excellent – Have been look for awhile for something that will help with cleaning up cats vomit, and the carpet was starting to look awful. puked in the car so I will bring it out there next. The suction is really strong, it works as well as any upright I've ever owned. It works on the large areas it just takes time, I found it quite meditative actually. Great on my micro fibre sofas as well... Seriously the machine is fantastic.... the rescue dog.....not so much.

Best product i own – I am very happy with this product. It is easy to use and small. It has great suction and great for cleaning those mistakes on the carpet. money in the long term. The machine is easy to use, lightweight and portable. You could use it on carpets but due to the size of the machine it would require frequent fill ups. That being said it could be used effectively in sections of a room that are walked on frequently.

I've the white emergency spot version – Everybody needs one. The fact they are so small and not that expensive, yet they save expensive carpets and sofas. Easy to use, although the water can dribble a bit sometimes. Needs only one refill to do a large sofa. I found it hard to decide which model to buy as there are no comparisons. came up brilliantly (couldn't believe how dirty it actually was), 6 dining chair's upholstery and carpet. I am about to use it on the car seats too. I've found that mostly water is all you need, but I am guessing a cleaning product would be useful for really stubborn stains.

Small and packs a punch! – I bought this to clean upholstery and it did an OK job but I wasn't wowed. It seemed to do a relatively ok job. Then I pulled it out to clean a rug and WOW! Wow wow wow! Great machine but can't clean the dirty water tank – Shame you can't take the dirty water tank apart and clean it properly. That's the only downside to the machine. I'm kinda annoyed I never bought this thing years ago! – It's bloody tops, It got all of my stains out of my cream fabric chairs, my couches and the carpet! The pet stain solution stuff also works well too and it's amazing how well this works. I wished the vacuum hose was a little longer though but it's not a huge issue.
