The Bissell worked extremely well, removed stains that had been there a while. Better than previous model & I reckoned it was GREAT. New pro-heat works on hard floors leaving a clean dry floor. I struggled trying to lift the roller cover inspecting the machine before use. Machine is noticeably quieter than the previous model in that the motor seems more powerful thus not working as hard, despite the 40% more power. Extra power means both better extraction from the carpet and better drying time. Hard floors are left dry & warm. This is my second Bissell Pro Heat 2 X Revolution Pet Series. 3 dogs in the house and 2 busy blokes with a forest on 2 boundaries means a heavy load. I had a cleaning business & wish I had the Bissell products of today. When my last machine failed (electric brownouts is my thoughts), I was given a spot Steam machine first followed by a steam mop with removable pads. New vacuum & other equipment to try and replace it. I had asked locally about new year and then finally it was in the window on Tuesday so I purchased it immediately. I have end stage heart failure and am becoming weaker than ever with walking a great difficulty. Mopping floors and vacuuming has become exhausting and can take days to mop the floors and another one to vacuum unless I sit on my backless desk chair with 5 wheels and let the Bissell do the work. Canisters are small enough even I can lift and carry them. Cleaning up is even easier than ever. CINNAMON antibacterial cleaning solution smells delicious and fresh.
Bissell preheat 2x revolution pet series – Both wheels have become " wobbly " (4 months after warranty period) after many emails and explaining ACCC rulings in regards to durability and expectation of use, Bissell consumer department blatantly said I'm not covered. enough, as I had vacuumed the rug several time to get dog hair and sand out. The colour of the water was disgusting. After going all over a few times it was still sucking up lots of dirt. So I changed to deep clean. Well that was amazing. After several passes it started to look really good. I then rinsed a few times , still dirty water sucking up. Well it has been 15 years since last done with a wet cleaner. I am 80 years old and managed to push and pull the machine easily. I took it apart for cleaning and was amazed on how much sand and dog hair I had to remove. So,yes I can recommend this machine. It’s going to take me a while to do the carpeted bedrooms, but that’s ok, no great rush. Bought from the Good Guys Mandurah W.A. PS it is a bit noisy.
great purchase for pet owners! – I have two Persians, one who has IBS and is constantly coughing up fur balls, and a toddler who gets food everywhere. the cleanest, lowest traffic carpet area in my house - the water was almost black! It's also been great for cleaning my toddler's padded play mat that they get lots of food on, (before and after attached).
The only stains it hasn't lifted has been bleaching, and pen ink.
It does use quite a lot of product, however it's worth it to keep my house smelling fresh. I use it at least once a month. The attachment upholstery cleaner is good for spot cleaning and sofas. I would recommend to anyone with carpets or rugs and pets.
You do need to change the dirty water quite often, but it's overall easy to use
It breaks after 2-3 times you use it – The first machine reshaped the clean water tank after several uses (only cold water used) - machine was replaced, GREAT. Second machine did the same thing after 3-5 uses, my fault (apparently) so purchased a replacement tank. Used several times more and the pump belt breaks - wear and tear apparently. work (was jammed) and the new/replacement has the same issue! After about 10 times actually using the machine, the serial number (being in a high traffic area for friction) has worn off and in turn has voided the warranty! Why put the serial number in such a spot Bissell?! I haven't owned something EVER that has needed this much attention. When it works it's great but I'm over having to fix/replace something every 2-3 times I want to use the darn thing!
Great Value Product – great carpet cleaner, especially if you have pets. We just got a puppy and the new bissell helps to keep the carpets clean. very easy to use and good value for money. I also just cleaned my upholstery car seats and was amazed how much dirt the bissell removed. I would highly recommend this product. Show details
Great for getting out dirt – I decided to purchase a carpet shampooer instead of paying every few years to have the carpets steam cleaned. I also wanted to be able to do spot cleans as needed. people extracted but I was still surprised (and disgusted!) The machine is solid and heavy, but it pushes itself along so you don't really feel the weight too much. It is pretty simple to use and because I hadn't had my carpet cleaned for quite a while, I used the deep clean mode which does make the carpet a bit wet, but it does vacuum a lot of the water back. I had my heater on and put on the ceiling fans and the carpet was dry by the next day. The carpet came up clean and smelled really nice, but I will have to do a second run over some of the high-traffic areas. I did have a bit of trouble using the stair attachments which were a bit fiddly so I might have to have another look at the instructions and see if I was doing it correctly. Overall, I think it was worth the investment given the price of professional carpet cleaners and I think having the machine there, ready to go, will me I'll probably mean I clean the carpets more regularly.
