disassemble to clean out the dirty water tank). Suction is excellent, although very noisy and I keep the pups in another room when I’m using it. Easy to move around. Easy and fun to use. The results were like magic. I’m happy with my purchase and hope this performance continues. Now experimenting with cleaning products.

Very dangerous, machine started smoking on 3rd use, tripped the RCD. Has permanent ground fault (RCD trips instantly when plugged in). Opened machine to inspect, massive amount of heat damage inside. contact the whole time, terrible design. See pictures, close enough to a small fire being started. Rotor got so hot it melted is a el housing and went of kilter. Shielding got so hot it melted into the rotor seat.
I bought this after my Bissell Little Green packed it in. The first one I puchased leaked from the very start but It was returned and got a replacement. After 2 years the hose became very stiff and couldnt even put the hose in the holder, eventually the hose broke and had to replace it, the new hose is a lot more flexible than the original. Works but lemon product and hopeless service – I have 3 of these machines which I use for a range of things including a rental business. Turns out renting them out voids the warranty altogether, which is wrong and I've contacted the ACCC about, as there should be at least 1 years warranty no matter the use. Something goes wrong with a unit every 3-6 months and half the parts are on backorder - build quality is below average. Support is next to useless. Show details
Can't live without it – This thing is amazing. I use it on the dogs beds, indoor and outdoor couches, and rugs. The stains it removes are truly impressive. that the waste container is a little hard to clean (a bit pokey). And the water container hard to fully empty, so there is always a tiny bit of water hanging around in there.
Leaked! – Bought brand new, used once and stored in laundry cupboard. It leaked all night through the bottom of the machine and damaged the cabinetry. detergent leaves a smelly sticky residue and leaves visible lines around the edges of where you've cleaned. Spraying with water and vacuuming it off seems to get rid of the lines.
I recommend always storing the machine with a waterproof container under it like a plastic basin in case it leaks. Also empty the clean tank after use so that leaks don't do as much damage (the instructions say to leave the solution in the clean tank).

has been able to lift dirt and give the car a good clean. It does leave things wet to touch but is usually dry the next day if left overnight. The machine can be loud. It can also be cumbersome in tight spaces as it’s quite large and the hose is short. I’d definitely recommend it if you are wanting to use it for cars or small areas. I used it on a large 2x4m rug, which wasn’t ideal as it took much longer with the smaller head, but it did get the job done and the rug came up looking fantastic.

bad, that it would break after a handful of times of use, I was just told that since the machine was out of warranty, I would have to buy a new hose. I was sent a link to purchase a new hose from the Bissell website, which would cost around $45 shipped. Why should I buy another hose, for it to break again in a year??
I was told that Bissell products and customer service were the best in industry, but this is obviously not the case! Will not buy another Bissell product again.
Wish I'd kept my 20 year old Steam cleaner – Biggest fail is the head that doesn't allow the water to be extracted to its fullest, even with a lot of pressure on the head the cloth remains quite wet. I might as well just use a vac and use hand tools to 'wash' the item. Show details

(My rug is dark grey) I have a strange sticky type purple stain on my lounge ( olive coloured)which has lifted a little but maybe I have to pretreat it first. I'm so impressed with the build quality of this product that I'm going to replace my Dyson vacuum with a Bissel.
The only thing I would change is the length of the hose.

longer hose. The canvas bag for the connections was a nice touch. First impressions not great and I'll compare it with our Hoover carpet cleaner once I find the attachments for it. Someone said in the comments to use water, brush and a wet/dry vac; I'm thinking that they might be onto something.

enquiry said they wont refund as it's more than 6 months of ownership. This isn't mentioned into any of the machine's paperwork. When I asked for a proof of that, he ignored my question and asked for a video proving the machine doesn't work.

were otherwise looking at replacing due to the "old" smell and body odour that it seems to have developed overtime. It is pretty noisy, but I guess that is a given, with the amount of suction it's putting out. Easy to use... I saw the reports of the house not being long enough. Its soberly been fine for us (not sure if the other models are different, or people are trying to do massive areas? ). We got through our 4 meter couch without any issues! Definitely recommend - especially handy for those with toddlers who like to run some with food on their hands!!!

I’m sure will come in handy and a great storage bag as well. The one complaint I would make is sitting on a hard floor it’s extremely noisy but when I lifted it onto the lounge for better reach I noticed it was much quieter I would suggest adding some sort of noise reducing mat for people with hard floors I actually think I’ll get ear muffs for future uses or cut some foam or something to sit it on .Only loses the 1 star because the noice on a hard floor is way to much .

Remove stains with a breeze! – I bought a used vehicle that had stains on the seats - it was obvious that the previous owner had young kids and possibly ate in the car. As soon as I got it home I unboxed it, Looked at all the attachments and then attacked my lounge suite. Now, I bought this lounge brand new, it gets vacuumed every week as we have a cat that enjoys the lounge as much as I do and my god the yuck that came out of it! I mean the water was like choc milk! Obviously, after this, I went and done the recliners, one of which I don't remember anyone even using as the car has a tantrum if you sit on her recliner and even that was coming out dirty. Just for context, the cat has never been outside! Now, I actually bought this to do the cars with as I like my cars to be spotless at all times and you guessed it, absolute muck!
This machine really does a very good job. Make sure anything you are going to use this on is fully vacuumed first as it penetrates best on a clean surface. It's very easy to use and comes with a cleaning attachment so which makes it easy to clean. I only use Bissell additives as I don't want to do anything to risk being without my spot cleaner. Works amazing on lounges, cars, rugs and mattress too! I could not ask for anything more from this. I also use the pet odour remover additive as it leaves a pleasant fragrance
