A good mower – I got given a black eagle 158cc lawn mower it was about two years old and I got it second hand the guy told me as long as you sevice it. Then it work quite well. He was right He had it two years There things he told me to do to maintain it Before you stop it turn the fuel tap off and let it run dry till it stops It your using once a week change the oil ever 6 months Service the gearbox every 12 months replace the spark plug ever 12 month And wd40 all the cables And As on any self propelled the grease in side the gear box will get contaminated and go dry with dust and dirt to service it just four screws take the top off and replace the grease.

Great Quality Mower for the price – This was my first Petrol lawn mower and I was very confused whether I should go with the "High Quality" Honda mowers or save money and get something that would just do the job. I researched a lot on the internet and got advice from professionals as well, and finally decided to go with this one mainly due to the fact that it has a very good engine.I am told that in any lawn mowers the main factor to consider is the engine, and if the engine is good quality and is maintained properly, It will last a life time. Now I don't know how true that is but I have seen this to be true in case of Car engines. Anyways, In a nutshell, The Briggs & Stratton engine on this mower is powerful enough to mow off anything.

And Yes I should have mentioned, I had some issues with the throttle cable as well (it broke) as mentioned in the previous review BUT the customer support at Bargains Online was great (which I honestly did not expect). They sent me a replacement part within a few days and I started the mower and mowed the lawn without any trouble. My advice: "Oil up the Throttle cable with WD40 the first time you get it to avoid any dramas" -- There are videos on youtube on how to do that (Very Easy).

As a first time user of petrol lawn mower, I would recommend this mower to anyone who is considering to get their hands straight in the mowing business.

Last but not the least, What ever people say, but the Self-Propelled feature is great. You will realize the benefit when you have to mow on a daily basis.

A good lawn mower without the heavy price tag – bought this lawn mower to upgrade by oztio electric lawn mower just for the fact that i was too tiered to manage cables and the power was not good enough to mow long grass. Searched around on the internet and came across Bargains- Online Black Eagle is a generic brand but has original Briggs & Straton engine so bought it just because it had reliable engine and works great and with self propelled even my wife can do lawn mowing. Good heavy duty body, Briggs & Stratton Engine, Cheap Price and Starts First Time Could have given one more height adjustment setting, throttel cable is bit weak so can't fold the handles easily
