Crap dash cams – I have the blackvue in my new car and they're crap. In my old car I had ones from JB that my dad installed and they were alot better than blackvue. Blackvue are not easy to use like other brands. They want you to sign up for cloud storage too which they don't tell when purchasing a new car. Waste of money. Show details

Great product for the rubbish bin – Only had this camera for a few months. When I did need it the dates where all wrong and to change it all files need to be deleted making it completely useless. What a piece of s##t. 4 month now it’s in the rubbish where it belongs. Show details

better cameras on the market – bought a blackvue 750s expecting it to be great found it to be a lemon as it doesn't always record, have found that when I need particular footage the whole day hasn't recorded etc or recording is missing but then findeither side days have recorded in full??, also get a voice message direct wifi already is use cannot fix this issue! this camera… Read more
has been replaced and found replacement to be same, have also replaced card with no luck, not happy with this camera. stick to a navman as I found these to be more reliable and alot cheaper.

Very simple to install - Software very user friendly – Easy to install (tucked the cable in behind roof trim, behind rubber seal of A-Pillar, under the dash, and then tucked under centre console so that 12V Plug could be inserted in rear seat 12V Accessory Socket) Tried various recording options and eventually settled for 720p so that 3min recordings could be made. settings (1080p), recordings are 1min in duration....too many.
Software is easy to use and the only issue I have encountered is sometimes my Phone won't connect to the Dashcam Wi-Fi for transferring of recordings.

recommend to format your SD card once every two weeks or once a month, depending on how intense you use the camera for recording”. I have tried this many times but consistently get the error message “Failed to format micro sdcard. Please check your micro sdcard”. A Google search of this error message on BlackVue dashcams indicates that this appears to be a common problem with quite a large number of users complaining about this type of error since 2014. A number of users have complained that their sdcard has become”bricked” and cannot ever be used again. I have 2 BlackVue sd cards the original one (16gb) supplied with the camera and another BlackVue sd card (64gb). Both of these sd cards give the same error. I have tried to format these cards on different pcs with the BlackVue Viewer software and always get the same error message. I have also tried formatting the sd cards whilst they are in the dashcam itself by “pressing the Wi-Fi button for 5 seconds and once voice instructions start, release the button. Then press and hold again for 5 seconds”. Nothing happens and the video files are not cleared out.
Judging by the overall number of complaints about this and that this has been accruing for many years then I really don’t think this dashcam is worthwhile and I would suggest you consider something else.

Constantly cannot communicate with it with my iPhone X, my Ipad Pro is better, but still has lots of issues – Don't know have never been able to get into the settings, the wireless on this thing is useless, it was fitted to my car by the dealer who went through a subcontractor AutoOne, who are next to useless as well, I have to drive over 40 kays each time to get stuff sorted and then 5 minutes after I have left it starts doing the same stuff, not connecting, can't get live view or into settings Show details

Brilliant – this is my second camera and the blackvue is just brilliant was easy to set up and pair to my phone the picture is very clear hi do most of my driving at night so I have it in night mode and is very good saving footage to my phone is very easy and for me that great because I am not real tech savy Cheers Dave Show details · 1

Good Camera overall. Features are good. Camera quality could be better – Had this for about a week and its been good so far. There are a few issues that bother me though. 1- The app does not us to manually delete of footage. sensitivity is. Should be a little smarter and perhaps only record it as an incident if the car doesn't move off in 5 mins?
3- the cloud connectivity sends me a notification on my phone (cloud connected or cloud disconnected) eveytime it gets connected to the internet or when i drive into my compound. An option to turn that off would be great. I wouldn't want to be reminded that im home as im driving home.
Other than that its a good overall camera and it seems reliable and well built. Price is a bit steep but i think if you're more focused on video quality, you can get other cameras with better quality with a fraction of the dr750s.
Not MMI friendly – Can't work with Audi MMI, as it interferes with the bluetooth when the iphone app is on. It plays back well on the iphone but takes up lot's of memory on your iphone. When the iphone app is on, you can receive calls on blue tooth but will not revert back to your radio station after the end of the call, otherwise, great little camera.

Much better than my older DR500GW – This camera with its new sensor is a step above the older models. As said the G sensor is a bit too sensitive but can be turned right down and if you turn audio warnings off you dont notice it. Also have seen it said that video can be better especially at night on 30 fps and you need a fairly fast SD card to use 60fps I use a very fast 128Gb… Read more · 3
