the reviews how this product is faulty and the glass has shattered for so many customers. Its so shameful and such a scam that Blanco sold faulty products and discontinued the product without any responsibility.

Worst oven imaginable – Incessant beeping that never stops, oven will trip the electric box if you heat it too high, electric display has not worked from day one. Had it fixed twice under warranty and broke down again shortly outside of warranty. Do NOT buy this oven. I’m having to go and buy a brand new oven after less than 2 years in new home. My builder must have got it for free to put this crap in a new home. Show details

No wonder its discontinued dangerous oven – 2018 Christmas day dinner almost ruined, the glass door on this oven shattered handle fell off when just about to take out the dinner for the family. Blanco technician to disconnected it another issue. For a 900 mil size, cavity is small. Blanco shut over holidays so we purchased a Westinghouse 900mil with a huge cavity and steel handle x3 glass windows in door. Back to a brand we know are good ovens parts come from South Australia. (The developers chose the Blanco oven for our townhouse) not us.

Blanco oven – Don't buy one. We are on our second. First one lasted 18 mths. The second is 6 mths old, warranty job, and an absolute lemon. Don't even want to get another under warranty. Cut your loses and move on. Will not reset, my daughter got a zap when she tried to reset it absolutely not worth wasting time and money with.  Show details

2 burner not working – Cooking with gas is a breeze and saves a lot of time and this model is very easy to use. The only problem is that 2 burners are not working and that is very disappointing. When the knob is push to the "full on" position, there is no flame. I couldn't hear the sound of the ignition spark.  Show details

Totally crap oven – Cooks well is why I gave it a one have had to replace hinges four times in the last seven years now front glass smashed everywhere being the pension can't afford to replace absolutely a piece of crap blanco don't care at all never have I had such trouble with an oven before.  Show details

Exploding glass door Blanco (Shriro) – Our brand new upright cooker was only used twice when the inside glass door exploded with a bang! Service centre girl was not very pleasant. Avoid this brand if you can , our oven came with the Porter Davis kitchen package , but I wished we installed Westinghouse Aussie made, as I've had trouble with Blanco dishwashers in the past. Exploding glass too – I wish I read these reviews before buying this oven. We have had nothing but issues for the last 3 months with multiple parts missing and today the glass door exploded with glass spraying both the interior of the oven and also externally hitting a guest. Exploding glass – Careful buying these wide free standing range ovens the glass explodes, not good, with small children about. Suggest avoid buying this model - and that is all... The element also failed and something is occasionally tripping the safety circuit ...

Blanco Service (Shriro Australia Pty Ltd) – I am pleased with my Blanco oven, BUT was really surprised and happy with the service when the door seal gave way. When ringing the company, they sent a new one out promptly, no charge!! In this day and age, that is impressive. BTW, when I broke the glass on the door myself, the replacement was delivered promptly - however, this was 2 years ago.

Shattered glass – We had the oven in our newly built house for just under 12 months when the inside panel of glass exploded while cooking. The glass exploded with so much force that it sprayed out under the door all over the floor and twisted the kick plate. Thankfully my toddler was in bed! assessors said it was just a coincidence that the glass exploded at the same time as a faulty wire was causing a dead short and actually fried the 16amp power point. After the first assessor came 2 weeks after we reported the fault to blanco, they decided they were too busy. Blanco did not inform us of this. It took numerous phone calls and 3 more weeks to get a different assessor to come. He noted the faulty wire and repaired it so I could then use the cook top but I had to wait for glass to be ordered. We did not hear anything for a further 3 weeks so called blanco yet again who stated the glass came but it was faulty so we had to wait for a new batch of glass.

Finally 3 months after it broke our oven was repaired. Cooking healthy meals with only a cooktop for my pregnant self and young family proved to be very difficult. Blanco did not offer so much as an apology for the many inconveniences.

Will never use blanco appliances ever again due to the very poor customer service. I have never experienced such difficulties in dealings with warranties before.

Watch out for shattering glass – This oven was installed recently in our newly built home. After the first week, all it had done was warm up some rolls and cook a lasagne. floor, not to mention inside the oven. Even without the shattered glass, the oven heats up incredibly slowly. There's no way I could recommend this to anyone. It looks ok. Glass on the inside of the oven shattered while preheating. Very slow to heat up.
