A mistake I won't be repeating – I ordered a bag of 50 grease nipple protectors. When I received the order I noticed that the OEM packaging had been ripped open and resealed with packing tape. I counted them and found that the bag contained only 38. I contacted BlueBar Industries asking them for a 25% refund (38 out of 50 is 76%). This was their reply: "We receive ‘new’… Read more
stock from Toledo so I am not sure about the rip and tape.. As a gesture of goodwill I will offer a partial refund based on the sale price of the grease nipples minus the postage..
The part number 305394 TOLEDO GREASE NIPPLE CAPS RED (50) sell for $13.70 without postage and 38 out of 50 is 76%.. The refund amount based on 22% missing is $3.30.. I’ll refund the $3.30 back to your Paypal account".
The fact that they don't check the product before it's shipped and then try to short-change pennies on a refund speaks volumes as to the way Blue Bar Industries operates.
As of the date of this review, I have not received any refund.
And the issue is ongoing – After being promised a refund for goods not received, this company continues to send emails to try and avoid all responsibility and not refund the $1000. They tell me they send thousands of parcels weekly. Here is a sample of some of their messages. on the 16th.. You have been a very difficult customer and frankly the parcel can't be delivered quick enough.." (It is now the 19th)
"If the tracking doesn't show a further scan by Wednesday next week then I will refund in full Regards Shane McLennan" [Noting, this did not happen and I was then told on the Friday, he was in discussion with Catch - it is now 5 days past this day]
"As I mentioned before I have no time or am not inclined to give out false information. Honestly your $800+ sale is just not worth it to me for what I make out of it.. We have a brilliant track record with our customers it is just unfortunate that your particular order got held up by the rail closure and then apparently lost by the courier and now you are saying (as I haven't checked yet) that its on its way again.. We do send out 100's of parcels a week and it is not possible for us to monitor every single one, this is why you are issued with a tracking number. In the case of Catch, if the link Catch provided you did not work, take it up with them.."
This one was sent on 8 Feb, noting it is now 19 Feb..."I am not in the habitat of lying or telling stories as to be honest I don't have that much time on my hands to even bother trying.. We send out hundreds of parcels a week and its just not worth my time to muck someone around.."
No refund, no reponse, not quite sure what Shane is waiting for. False promises, failure to deliver, and an entire thread of commentary that does not stack up.

Engel fridge 3 m lead – The ordering process was straightforward and delivery was prompt ,the item arrived within a couple of days. The item is as described and seems of good quality. Exactly what I needed, very satisfied.
