Bluewater Campers

This company is an absolute disgrace. Their customer service is appalling, and they have no intention of honouring warranty claims—don’t be fooled. The product descriptions are deliberately misleading, designed to rope you in, and once your warranty expires, everything starts falling apart like clockwork. It’s clear they build their products to… Read more
fail and rely on customers giving up rather than fighting back. This is not a business you want to deal with. Deceptive, dishonest, and completely unreliable. Stay far away. You’ve been warned
Bluewater Camper Lachlan 2 – I'll start with the pros. The base Camper is easy to initially set up (unfold and pull out rear). It tows well, but most trailers setup with a cruisemaster hitch tow well. The cons. It looks to me that Bluewater have tried to include a bunch of stuff in the Camper that a top level campers include, and as a result, have skimped on anything of… Read more
value. - Fridge and Pantry - The fridge and pantry should be on separate slides next to each not on the same slide behind each other. The fridge when pulled out doesn't pull far enough to actually go 90 degrees to the drawer and hits on the actually cover door. You need to lift it up with a lot of force to actually get it to lock back in place. The drawer hits on the fridge as it doesn't fold out properly. To relatch the fridge, the slide requires significant effort to lift up to re-latch. The runners are thrash and rust easily. There are no stainless runner anywhere.... -kitchen - is cheap and nasty. The rear shelf doesn't sit level. The stupid light that's in it rusts as it's not stainless, the little plastic wing nuts on the kitchen supports seize and have snapped off. All the retention pins are crap, un galvanised steel and rust. The kitchen itself isn't level in the Camper so the water in the sink doesn't drain properly. -beds- I'm a side sleeper the mattresses are just disgusting. They are quite thin and super hard. It was quite unpleasant sleeping on them. -awning- the top went up with a bit of difficulty. The side awnings fit, the front of the awning was too short to actually connect to the sides lol... like ffs how hard is it get that right. The poles wear out quickly. The quick style pole doesn't stay up under guy rope pressure and collapses. There are these connections on the camper that the pole slot into that have these little button disconnects on them that get all full of dust and crap and wont work. Honestly.. why??? Why not have a simple slot here? Why the need to have this little operable button... -wiring- the ways it's wired is crap as well and not straight forward. To run the hot water you need to actuate the internal switch panel and then have 'water' selected... at no point anywhere does it say hot water. Have a bigger all encompassing panel at the front and put the redarc in that instead of inside at floor level...
I could keep going but I won't. How this Camper got the vote it did at Camper trailer of the year is beyond me... It's a crappy chinese import with some bling items on it so they can charge more than an ezytrail.. Save a bit more of your money and buy Australian made. The quality of this machine is just pathetic.
Also.. you are warned... the rust. Do not take this Camper on the beach. The Camper I hired was full of rust. Nothing on this Camper is designed to stand the test of Australian conditions or Queensland humidity.
Poor on parts – Bought a Pedrika, at 3 years old, first problem replacement of brake shoes. They don,t stock them and don,t have replacements also don't have part numbers. Second problem tyres Chinese Coopers not available in Australia, so can't match them. Third problem water intake lockable cap desintegrated, they sent me a new one, wrong size they don't have… Read more
