GOLDSTAR 2021 liberty tourer with double bunks. 62,490k – $6000 deposit given 30th Aug 2021. Received my 2021 family liberty tourer ($60k) on 11th March 2022. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks as i picked one already mostly built. had a very very bad experience dealing with Goldstar sales. At last the Caravan arrived at the depot south of Brisbane. It looked great. However I had no instructions at all… Read more
and struggled to even unlock the front door. it was missing the gas bottles. I was later told to go buy my own and Goldstar would reimburse me ( they did). The caravan was just like the photos and I was very pleased with the appearance inside and out. I found deep scratches in the boot tunnel and was later told Goldstar were not going to do anything and wondered what I was wanting from them? was later told a replacement would be sent to me for the liner ( never was). Had to ask for instructional videos even though I had been promised personal online walk through. None of the videos matched my model. On the first night away I tried to fill the Water tanks and water was leaking under the caravan, broken pipes and hoses. Queen bed was rock hard couldn't sleep. The awning was not attached at one end and leaked when rained. I contacted Goldstar. Its been 12 days and Have had no support or assistance. 19th may 2022 was finally contacted from Goldstar and asked to provide quotes for the repairs and Goldstar would cover the cost upon their approval. I have had additional issues with freezer not working, and more unmentioned things that need to be repaired under warranty. nothing major. So i have sent multiple emails including a quote from a professional caravan repairer to Goldstar and have heard nothing back other than Goldstar will look into it?. update 7th June. I finally had the repair quote approved for $660. I paid the repairer myself and was reimbursed the $660 after a few phone calls and emails. UPDATE 24TH JAN 2023. I have found paint is now perishing on the composite finish at the front of my van, the freezer is still not working ( or replaced) and the mirror lighting in the bathroom is not functional. I am trying to be patient with Goldstar to get these things repaired through 3rd party quote approvals. Each time I have to take my caravan for a quote I have to take time off work. They have denied the first paint repair quote to remove full panel and respray then re install. . As Goldstar want cladding to go over the paint not the paint resprayed. the company refused to quote such a repair as they said that is not how to fix the paint issue. When i had the van road worthy tested for the QLD rego transfer, holes were found behind the a frame on the structure and Goldstar would not help and i had to pay to have panels laid over it. In addition one of the brakes had been installed backwards causing the wheel to not turn smoothly ( how it passed the initial road worthy is SA baffles me) , I did quite a few trips like this before it got fixed after the road worthy. Goldstar reimbursed me only for the brake repair $325 . 20th march 2023. Goldstar have rejected the second quote to repair the paint issue going on 6 months since first reported the paint issue the company also said that placing cladding over the affected area is not how you fix the paint issue and refused to quote that type of fix.. Goldstar said they will look into and let me know I have had no reply from Goldstar. Still have a faulty fridge/freezer after one year. UPDATE 27th JUNE 2023 , still no word from Goldstar concerning the rectification of the paint peeling of the composite. I have noticed after just one year the Goldstar stickers are coming off also on the rear of the caravan looks awful. I keep the caravan covered, The exterior handle has paint peeling off too. I had to respray the A-frame as the paint had peeled off and was rusting. .I contacted ACC and QLD fair trading as I wasn't hearing anything back from Goldstar., within 24 hours of fair trading getting involved Goldstar have immediately reached out to me with the offer to repair the paint but only a respray of the area not the whole panel also have booked in a fridge guy to quote a repair. If the paint repair is obvious it will de-value my caravan . I'm starting to regret this purchase now. Also they sent the wrong mirror ( just a plain basic mirror) instead of the one with the touch sensor and lighting feature. for a repair quote , I am waiting for Goldstar to send the correct mirror. We also never used the stove until our last trip ( just after the 12 month warranty) and the cooling fans must hit something as the noise is so loud we cant use it. sigh.
Picked up our new Goldstar caravan a couple of weeks ago and we absolutely love it. The sales rep Harvey that we met at the Adelaide Caravan and camping show was fantastic, every change we wanted to make during the build he took care of it for us and made sure it was exactly what we wanted, even when we changed our minds a few times. Andrew who… Read more
took care of most of the build in Adelaide and did an absolutely 1st class job, it looks exceptional inside and out and his handover was well explained for a novice like me and very thorough. We just took it away for our 1st trip ever towing a caravan and had the best time, it tows so easy and looks a million bucks. Could not be happier.

Great service from start to finish. We absolutely love our 21ft multi terrain Goldstar Caravan — the quality and layout are fantastic for the value and it’s been a dream to use. A special mention to Jacob from Bullsbrook, who was amazing to deal with. Super helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. We loved the entire experience of dealing with Goldstar RV Caravans. From our first meeting with Sam at their Old Reynella site to our visit at the Caravan and Camping Show and subsequent visit to their factory at Lonsdale. never pressured. Most importantly we are so pleased at the quality and fitout of our van. We brought it home on a Thursday and were out on our first trip on the Friday. It towed well, set up brilliantly and was super comfortable with masses of storage space. We could not recommend Golsdstar more highly and absolutely exciting and pain-free experience.

Goldstar RV get a Goldstar✅ We had been on the lookout for an upgrade to our camping trailer for quite a while, and first came across the 15ft Hybrid Caravan at a show in Perth convention centre. Goldstar RV were fantastic to deal with – friendly, professional, and no fuss. After collecting the caravan, we did have a small issue with the aircon/heater, but Jacob and Craig at Bullsbrook were extremely helpful and got it sorted without any hesitation.
The level of service we’ve received has been excellent, and we couldn’t be happier with our caravan and the support from the Goldstar RV team. Highly recommend them! Thanks Jacob, Craig and the team

Was so excited to buy our first ever caravan 19.4ft Maverick 2023 model in WA so we can travel around Australia but we ended up at our property in Far North Queensland We had some minor hiccups with communication and safety issues from the dealer in WA but hubby rectified that and fixed the problem plus we had to wait for a number plate that… Read more
hadn’t been fixed to be sent from SA to WA which we couldn’t understand why it wasn’t already registered in WA Only had the caravan nearly 2 months now and found some things wrong with the inside of van that hadn’t been fixed When it was time to go pick the van up after being told it was going to take 5 weeks to fix and get it up to scratch as it wasn’t a brand new van and paid the same price we were there for nearly 5 hrs waiting to take the van home and still they were fixing things on it Poor work ethic on their behalf in Bullsbrook WA Rang Goldstar in SA and told them that the faucet in the shower has a crack through the middle so they sent me out a new one to replace The led light stripping is coming away from where it’s placed but that’s minor and we can fix that Now we are in Qld we have to go through the process of getting a gas certificate a roadworthy certificate and a HVRAS due to their laws here in Qld The only other problem is that we have to upgrade the solar system as it isn’t enough to get us through one night due to them being a 100 wattage each but in all honesty the van is quaint next van we will get will be a bit bigger as it does get a bit tight in some places
Happy with my van ❤️ I am satisfied with the way the van was presented Show details

We have now purchased two caravans from Goldstar. The first time was during the COVID shutdown — sight unseen — and the van turned out to be fantastic. The team worked amazingly with us to arrange pick-up from the border. After a couple of years, we decided to upgrade to a bigger van — the Maverick Off Roader — and we absolutely love it. couldn’t be happier with both of our purchases. From Jacob in sales, who even came out on-site to make sure everything was perfect, to Sidney in services, and Maria in admin — every interaction has been prompt, professional, and helpful.
Goldstar has truly delivered a great experience both times.

Awesome value caravan for the money. We owned this van for 3 and a half years and did 7 trips into the central desert region of Northern Territory and 4 trips around Victoria and 1 to NSW as well as some local trips in SA. We sold it recently and after all the punishment the van came up looking like new. It was not without it's faults but you would be hard put to find a van as solid for the money Show details

very bad hole on the wall by the main bed. It’s taken 5 months to finally get the this sorted out to our satisfaction. After much drama and extremely bad slow after sales service we finally had to offer to pay for half of the window to get rid of the hole in the wall . So we finally have a window. We were told to pick it up yesterday . It was filthy covered in a white layer of wall dust from cutting the hole for the window. They didn’t even try and clean anything . I think it’s really terrible that they even thought they could hand the van back in that condition . They are terrible to deal with . I can’t recommend them at all because of the after sales service .
Follow-up · A follow up review a few weeks later. The bunk beds are good somewhat small . They’re good for small kids . But not adults or large children. The concerning shower door is annoying . So we are replacing it ourselves with a bifold acrylic shower door. We’ve bought mattress toppers for the queen bed and the bunks as the mattresses are very firm.… Read more

other makes, often costing thousands of dollars more. The standard of finish both inside and outside was very pleasing to see. There are a few minor issues that we found and we are yet to take it on its first trip, but those things will be addressed quite easily. The shell of the van comes from China and it incorporates the latest materials used for panels and side walls. Good quality components sourced in Australia are then used to complete the fit out. We added a few extra things such as a dust suppression system and we were impressed with the worker who installed these extras because he made direct contact with us and sent us pictures to show finished work. Highly recommended.
Follow-up · Happy with the layout - it is exactly the same as many other vans. The finish inside is very good -joining seams are flush and well finished. Door locks and overhead cabinet locks are a good quality with a firm feel and I can't see them opening during travel. As we are still yet to take our first trip, I cannot comment on the other two points.
We bought our first 17.6ft Goldstar Liberty Tourer in 2021, got it delivered to us in WA in 3 weeks, which during covid was a miracle. The van was awesome, towed well and never gave us any issues. We traded it in with GS for a bigger model (20.8ft),… Read more
which was custom built for us, as we wanted some modifications made. These changes were made for us and the price was still very reasonable. We have had a few teething problems but these have been sorted out for us. The best modification we made as the suggestion from Jacob on how to reduce the amount of condensation in the van, was installing a 4 season hatch, it has been a game changer.
Follow-up · Maria has been excellent in helping sort out the various issues we had with our new van. She helped communicate when and where we needed to take the van and would chase things up for us when needed. We opted to remove the oven and grill from our van and asked Goldstar to create a space for our air fryer. I asked for a vent to be installed at the… Read more

Recently had our first trip away in our new Goldstar, had two small issues to attend to both in the shower. The drain cover was loose and the fan worked but then stopped. drop the van off on that date with instructions on where to go and who to see. Went in as Planned, had interaction with 4 staff members while there, all very courteous, polite and helpful. Service manager decided it wasn't worth leaving it there so he would attend to the issues straight away! He also checked out my spare wheel carriers as some people are claiming they are having problems.... no issue with mine. Very happy with how everything went, they could not have been more helpful, clear communication and fixed what needed to be done. Considering its a factory and they would have very little interaction with customers the team over there were great. Told them thank you and hopefully they will never see me again!!!!!!
We picked up our van (17"6" Liberty) from the Perth office in Jan 2025 (A bit of a delay to when ordered - Beyond the control of people in Perth). This is our first caravan. Not all smooth sailing. from above the sink. Second issue: Requested Electronic Anti sway to be fitted prior to delivery. Not knowing what I was looking for I assumed that when I was told it was fitted, it was..... Wrong, on arrival in Adelaide I needed to look under the van for another issue and noticed the absence of the anti-sway control box. Third Issue: A portion of the drive involved 250Km of dirt road. What you typically expect in some parts of WA. The DRS system fitted worked well considering that there were over 15 unsealed pipe entry points. The dust was limited to immediately around these areas. Thanks to Jacob liaising with head office in Adelaide, Maria at Customer Service, and Sidney at the main yard in Adelaide all of these issues were fixed within a week of getting to Adelaide. Cannot be happier. Sidney truly takes pride in what he does, and it shows. On a more positive note, the van had no towing aids for the drive over the Nullabor. Towed a dream. All in all, what could have been a major drama turned out to be a hiccup and nothing more. We are very happy with the van, very comfortable and the rest of the trip went very well. Note: When requesting twin beds in replacement of the double, check if you lose any length in the bed. We lost about 3 inches which is ok for the wife, but me being 6ft tall means at full stretch my feet touch one end and my head the other. Thanks to all involved.
NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE – I purchased a 17.6 caravan from gold star a couple of years ago . I had made arrangements to pick up our new van at S.A coming from Wollongong N,S.W on a certain day . we arrived at the yard to be told the van was supposed to be picked up the next day. I had to show the employee the email that confirmed that I was there on the right day and had… Read more
to fork out for another night in a motel. WASN'T IMPRESSED. BUT THERE'S MORE. Next day we return to the yard. We were handed all the paperwork and payment was made. We had the run through talk with their salesman , sorry got no gas cylinders would have to purchase them myself and would be reimbursed. OK bought gas cyclinders hooked them up. We travelled to Bordertown pulled into a caravan park for the night. I turned the gas on so we could cook our tea only to have the gas leak monitor scream it's head of so quickly shut the gas of and spend the rest of the trip eating out. NOT IMPRESSED AGAIN. BUT THERE'S MORE. We also found one of the drawers had a dodgy slide rail. When the drawer pulled out to the half way position it jumped off the rail. When we arrived back home I contacted Goldstar, under their instruction did a bubble test to find the gas leak. Sent confirming pictures. I was told to get quotes, so I rang around was told by each person that there was a cost involved for the quote and the work needed. So I got a gas plumber to check it out and eliminate the problem. Now this is the good bit . I have a certificate to say that the gas was tested and okayed when in fact rthe leak was the result of a loose fitting inside the caravan. HOW CAN THAT BE. Goldstar refused to refund the cost of the gas plumber. Never refunded cost of gas cyclinders nor have they done anything about the drawer, it's all come out of my pocket. I DO NOT FIND THESE PEOPLE TO HONOURABLE TO THEIR WORD. CHECK EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU HOOK UP AND DRIVE OFF>

Picked up our Liberty Tourer 17.6 from Bullsbrook 10/2/26, handover was smooth and professional all our questions were answered and the boys were very helpful getting the rearview camera working in our car. Also managed to source a suitable lanyard for the breakaway system. Still learning all the ins and outs of the new van, but very pleased so far, we plan to go away in it next month.
We are loving our 17.6 foot Goldstar Liberty Tourer caravan. We have been away a few times now just for a couple of nights at a time.
